Only thing I really plugged was heroin, and that's just because my veins are shot, and tar is deadly on veins and surrounding areas alike, but we've had great lenthy entertaining threads on pluggingon here, and the various physical contortions to make it work...probably come up on searches...

Only bad side effect I ever noticed was due to inadvertantly looking in the mirror while doing it: that'll totally destroy any self-respect you might retain... ;)

Pain--for me--was never due to mode of injestion, but rather due to steady opiate use itself, which causes constipation, which causes pain in abdominal area...

shit just falling out your ass could be a bad side effect and box just cause you have pill residue on your finger doesn't mean you should shove it up your ass. fuckin ass bandit

I seem to remember reading somewhere that APAP isn't good to put up there. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

the apap i know is better goin in there than oral.

i was just wonderin because it seems i can use less pills if plugging which is helping with usage, ican plug half the amount id hafta swallow to be well. not incuding pain seems a lil better. but if i plug long term to help keep usage down id like to know of any negatives.

maybe RXQUEEN could chime in

While I've not tried it yet, I wanted to earlier this year here and I cannot remember wHO I was talking to but I do remember (because it was percs at that time) them saying something about the apap. As a matter of fact I think thats why i didnt do it.
Anyways I just wanted to say I've also heard that

yeah it increases my chronic pelvic/abdominal pain a few notches, not to mention constipation (otherwise i can shit every day in spite of fent/done/oxy/dillys around the clock).

plus i just never get much out of it no matter how many dillys i do, just a mild wave followed by more pain

While in hospital I was given 4 grams daily of APAP in my IV line, so if it's safe to IV it, it's certainly save to plug APAP, provided you don't go over the 4 gram daily limit.

Haha! Joe, some people just like stuff shoved up their ass I guess... j/k box, lol.

Yep. For those of us w/ cp in abdomen the THOUGHT of shoving something up there is just... shitty. :p

Hospital admin of apap doesn't include fillers, and all that other crap that, especially pills, other tylenol does. Might as well shove a needle-less syringe filled w/ liquid children's tylenol up there :D

Ha, plugging, never heard that, we call it hooping.

Box: *Grabs his stomach*
Friend: "Gotta poop?"
Box: "Nope, time to hoop tho!"

Seriously man, it CAN'T be healthy to chronically shove stuff up there. It is an exit-only route, by nature. Try sublingual (yuck! I know...) or CWE first.

PS. Thx for all the advice and help, TTYL.

as far as i can recall, APAP is tolerated somewhat easier through rectal administration than through oral. but either way, it isn't good to get too much of that shit for extended periods of time. try plugging after doing a CWE to get rid of some of it, just to be safe. i can understand how plugging lets you get away with a smaller dose... it's a really effective ROA for most things. just if the stomach pain continues, get it checked out. is it maybe constipation? cuz if it is, you wanna take care of it ASAP so it won't interfere with your next dose's absorption!

Makes sense. First pass is through the liver, so of course it'll effect it. Rectally or other ROA's MAY hit the liver, but it isn't one of the first stops on the path to opi-heaven. ;)

GL man, just be careful w/ that shit (literally ;) )
