Drug Dreams Anyone??

Does anyone else have recurring dreams about drugs, or am I just weird? I dream mostly about pharmacuticals b/c thats my main thing, but sometimes I dream about shit I very rarely do. Last night I dreamed I was breaking into "Tony Soprano's" house (I watch the Soprano's on HBO) (It's a really good TV drama for those of you who don't know so I'm not ratting anyone out or anything) and I was stealing and snorting cocaine and heroine I found in his medicine cabinet. I've never even seen Tony use drugs on the show, so I don't know where it came from. Needless to say, it was a cool dream, like I could almost feel it, and it sucked when I woke up. This is just one example of a dream about drugs I have almost on a nightly basis. Am I a feind or what? Anyone else have or care to share their "drug" dreams?

everytime I sober up, I dream about the big fuckin tubs of lories in the watson plant, like homer in the land of chocolate. double fistin right in my face. I'm covered in a blush-green dust. like i just got into a pixie stick. and being invisible just to sneak behind the pharmacy counter.

I don't know if these are good dreams or torture. I lean towards torture.

Do you find that these dreams increase ten fold when your sick? I do. I have the same sort of dream as Antony of a factory that manufactures just what I need. So imagine me running around grabbing pills of every size and color kind of like the fat kid in Willy Wonka. My punishment for being greedy is waking up.

Odd that such a great dream can be ,upon waking up, percieved as a nightmare.

I've dreamt of drugs on occasion (always opiates of course). Typically I wake up before taking anything in my dream, which is (for some reason) frustrating.

I just woke from a dream actually... which is odd, cause I wanted to post it, and, hey, look a thread for it... I was dreaming that I was staying at a winter cabin. And I found blister packs of valum (10's) and two large fentenal pill, and four small ones. Anyhow i stole the pills and took 10 valume. Even in my dream I thought this unusual, cause I do not like valume. Then the rest of the dream was spending keep away with the rest of the pills. I was trying to stop my boyfriend from taking any fentenal.

Dreams mimicing life... I have my scripts now, and am playing the same game of keep away... Somedays I wish I never let him try that first OC.

another thing that happens every once in a while is i'll half-wake up in the middle of the night and i can't move and i'm not totally awake so i try to scream or something to wake myself up and eventually it works. i've read about this and i know that alot of people get it and some times you kinda hallucinate that there is something else in the room. it's such a scary thing and i think it only happens when i've taken some opiates but it seems to happen only if i've taken a small amount i think.
has anyone else had this experience? it's so strange, i can see the room and i know my gf is laying next to me but i cant wake up, i dont think my eyes are open so it's just my mind being half concious and knowing where it is but stuck in sleep or some shit.

You described that really well. I've been having these occurances even before I smoked weed so for me its not drug related. One thing I've noticed when I'm in tha paralasis mode is that it seems like Im in the room I feel asleep in and I can definatly sense something very ominous lurking in the room but when I wake up, at least a few times, I noticed that wherever I was it wasnt exactly where I really was which was in my bedroom. I think its that it seems so real and your so paralyzed by fear that the only logical reasoning is that there is someone in your room about to kill you.

The weird thing is that for some reason you feel that the best thing to do is stay still, or scream your lungs out which never seems to work. Like his vision is based on movement or something. I dont know thats all very confusing but for those of you who dont share this with Dissident I and many others consider yourself lucky.

I feel so much better that other people have opiate dreams as well...i have them ALL THE FUCKING TIME..i always dream about doing dope and slammin it, and like a previous poster, its like i can almost FEEL THE RUSH in my dreams, then i actually wake up from the fake orgasmic rush in my dreams, only to be dissapointed by the realization i had not just slammed X amount of dope...but yea i used to have dreams of countless OCs back when i was an OC head in high school, especially when i ran out...on a stranger note, when i went thru w/d, i used to always have dreams where i would have an OC, and i couldn't get the coating off, or i couldn't crush it..like it was an invincible OC or something..or i'd crush it then be confused in the dream and lose the powder...it was like opiate NIGHTMARES!! AHHH!!!

yep, get them all the time. always from intense psychological cravings... after i finished off my opium a couple weeks ago i had dreams (usually several) every night of opium until several days ago. i could smell the opium in all my dreams, and it was so real i could have sworn that someone was holding a gram beneath my nose while i slept. waking up was the nightmare.

yeah thats how the using dreams are for me too, the worst one i had was when i quit oxy for the first time and i went back to the town where i was living and using and my friend and i were staying in my shithole junky piss-in-bottles apartment so i could move my shit outta there (throw it on the street curb mostly).
i had this dream that we were going to the purdu oxycontin factory and there were these dogs that could smell something about you if you were using drugs. i think i stole some while i was in there and i was feeling so good since i had just finished withdrawls and i was all depressed and shit and now i felt great cause i munched like 6 80's... but when we were walking to the car these guard dogs smelled the oxy in my bloodstream and jumped on me it sucked...
but yeah i have using dreams all the time, usually when i run outta shit.

and opiyum- yeah those dreams are fuckin scary huh, people in old europe used to call it "old hag syndrome" because lots of people think there is an old lady on them holding them down/pulling their hair etc

I've had those dreams on occasion. One time (and this was before I'd ever heard of the condition) I'd seemingly awoken to find a creature no taller than a foot high perched upon my chest. This creature was but a head possessing neither chin nor neck, set atop a pair of feet with jagged yellow nails. It had long gray tangled hair, and glowing red eyes set in the deep sockets of a withered old hag.

As she grinned, I was met with a mouth full of ivory thorns stained with plaque and blood. As I could not move, I did the only thing I could think of, which was to concentrate on the hag and attempt to transform her into the much preferred form of a cat. I did so with only marginal success. The creature slowly began to shift in form, taking on the perfect silhouette of a cat. Yet the skin of the animal had remained that of the hag, pallid and wrinkled. At this point, I awoke. As I recall this event I can't help but feel terrified, and begin to cry. For me, it is more vivid than any other memory.

edit: I know it was just a dream, but the whole experience was so realistic, and I was quite lucid.

Have you been taking them...? Usually I just woke up before I slam or take them; that's damn frustrating... Now when I'm on bupe, I'd dream of real one, such a way and often that I'll have to go to for a 'done... Not that they are only nightime dreams, they are daydreams also..

Sopranos yesterday tony said he was on ativan and dilaudid. The week before he was on a Morphine drip due to stomach wound, in past episodes he has had several drug experiences not to mention others in the show like Chirs m who is a heroin addict, remeber the episode I dream of Jeannie Cusamano when tony met that chick , she never even existed, the sopranos rock.

I usually only get the "drug dreams" after some length of sobriety (about a month of Clean time or more) and they are always pretty bizarre and confounding,thats for sure!! The really frustrating part of it all for me is how,when having a "drug dream", I always have some crazy things happen during the dream which totally drive me insane!! heres a couple of the dreams I've had before!! #1) I get a bag of heroin and after I open it, I somehow drop it ALL onto a thick thick carpet! So,I get a hose and soak the whole carpet and I try to use my syringe to suck it all up......like the carpet was/could be used as a big cotton and I could suck up that one bag of heroin through it and shoot it up!! So the whole dream (NIGHTMARE!!) entirely consisted of myself sucking up and filling the syringe as much as I could,then shooting it up, over and over and over,because the whole carpets worth had to be sucked up and shot into my vein if I was going to have a chance of getting high (which was impossible of course,but I keep trying!!) and I remember the frustrated feeling that I had in my dream!! It was so uncomfortable and infuriating that I hope I dont have to feel that way ever again!!
#2) In this "drug dream" I am getting ready to smoke a big crack rock outside on the front porch (just who's porch it is.. I have NO CLUE!!) when some dog jumps up and bites my hand with the pipe in it,which makes me drop the pipe,then the mutt chomps and gulps the whole thing down,rock and all,then it runs away! So the next thing you know,I'm in this truck (a weird farm type rusty bucket!!) with a bunch of toothless rednecks, chasing down this mutt (which has now turned into the biggest dog I have ever seen,like "clifford the red dog") for my pipe and rock, through mountains and forests and then deserts,swamps and neighborhoods ( where little dirty kids are running away screaming at the site of us!!) until the damn big dog runs up into a tree and sits up there and wont come down....so,I'm trying to get this dog to come down,when all of a sudden the rednecks start shooting at it with shotguns!! When they hit the giant dog,it comes falling out of the tree and lands in front of us!! So then a redneck cuts open the belly of the mutt and "LO N' BEHOLD!! THE CRACK PIPE(stem) AND THE ROCK!!" but not only do they find that they find pot,heroin,pills,booze,porno-mags(?),needles and a couple of beautiful women(?) and we all start hootin' and hollerin' and celebratin!! Then the giant red mutt-dog asks us if we can sew him up so he also can party with us!! Soooo....I am waiting for the toothless rednecks to finish sewing up this giant dogs belly so we can all start smokin' pot,shootin' dope,poppin' pills and what-not,right?! I am dying to get the ingesting of drugs started (can anyone relate to how the "dream jones" feels?! It totally sucks!! like its WORSE than a real life "jones",man!!) when all of a sudden I hear a redneck start Screaming from the emergency room (which suddenly we were all in!!) "OH NOOOO!! WE'RE LOSIN' HIM!! WE'RE LOSIN' HIM!! C'MON OLD BOY HANG IN THERE!! HANG IN THERE OL' BUDDY!! GIMME SOME PLASMA!!" and now,all of a sudden the dog dies on the operating table and the rednecks come out of the surgery room,pulling off their face-masks,shaking their heads and some are even crying!! Next thing I know,I'm all alone in this "hospital" all of a sudden (frickin' crazy,right?) and I'm STILL CRAVING FOR DRUGS LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER MAN!! I am so frustrated and pissed off from everything that I feeling like I'm going to literally explode when......"wait a minute!! did they even get the drug's out of the dog's belly? and if they did....they took off with them on me!! THOSE HILLBILLY BASTARDS!!" and I run out of the abandoned hospital to go find my drugs,and when I finally get back to the porch (where this all started!) there is no one there!! Then I hear sad voices around the back of the house and I run around it to see whats going on and I am just in time to see "them" throwing the last shovelfull of dirt on the dogs grave!! I am so pissed that they buried the dog before telling me whether they had all the drugs or not that I grab a shovel and start digging up the fresh grave to see for myself!! I didn't get one scoopfull off of that grave before the rednecks all grabbed ahold of me and stopped me and would not let me continue!! Then I looked squarely in the face of one of the dirty toothless rednecks,and in his neck was a syringe full of heroin,and hanging out of his mouth was a giant blunt!! Then I became frightened (nightmarely so!!) for some reason and I woke up!! when I woke up,my heart was pounding,I was sweating buckets and the worst of it all was that all of that strained frustration that I felt from that crazy ass nightmare "drug dream" carried over into my awake state!! What a mother fucker,huh?!!

i often score 1/4oz's of heroin in my dreams, many times i've felt so high that i can't move or am even puking. almost every time i wake up right before i am about to cook another hit, or even right as i am putting the needle to my arm.

funny thing is i have never shot smack and only snorted it on a few occasions. oh the control it has over me already, lol

I've scored many times in my dreams and cooked up etc but I have never successfully had a hit in a dream. I always seem to wake up at the crucial moment.

My boyfriend has a dream (nightmare?) where he's in a garden shed trying to sort his amps out and get them into a works but he can't because someone (faceless) keeps stamping on the amps quicker than he can suck them into his works.........
