Im prescribed 120 vic 7.5/750 every month which I proceed to finish in about 5 mins after I get home from my pharm.

My friend says he is able to get prescibed demerol for a jaw problem, but never gets it cause it severly fucks him up. He's offered me his script, but I would have to pay for the visit and the fill cash, cuz he doesn't want it on his insurance; upwards of $450. I think he may be full of shit, but i pay $155 a month with doc visit and my vics and 90 soma. is there any reason to pay that sick amount of money for a sythentic drug, that i don't know will give me some nice euphoric and nodding effects?

anyone experienced with this shit, and recommend it or not?

the only reason I ask, there doesnt seem to be anyone taking this here regularly. so I question how good it is

i get dermeral shots for migraines, and it just knocks me out...I get a buzz after the shot and as soon as I am home I am fast asleep for 4-5 hours

I have always enjoyed demerol but I could not take it all of the time because after taking it for 2 weeks/1200mg per day it made me foggy even when I wasn't taking it.It is a great buzz plus it helps me sleep. It is also the only drug I have found that I could take with success when I was on methadone.Having said that, it seems like a very high price unless the doc prescribed 100 at a time. The street price is usually 8 to 10 dollars for 100mg

I found Demerol to be quite pleasant myself. IV was my method of administration and I built a tolerance up quite quick. But, the high was good for me. I do know some who just don't like the high and get the nausea pretty bad. Demerol does decrease the seizure threshold, especially in higher doses. Anyone who has a history of seizures should avoid Demerol and go for other opiates.

Most opaite-dependant people that SWIM knows refer to Demerol as "dummy oil". The high it provides is sub-par compared to the other opaites, it has a tendancy to cause more severe itching and for many people requires an antihistamine be consumed prior, and it is the only opoid (that I know of) that is neurotoxic with continued use. I would advise you find another painkiller.
