I've read something about drinking milk after you've done some H will decrease the high faster...or totally making you sober. I think I read it on here..maybe it wasn't. I don't see how, or why. But, im craving a big glass of milk but also just done about a $50 shot...

Have you been talking to the same old hippie from the Peanut Butter Withdrawal Stopper thread? ;) No, milk doesn't reduce the effects of any opiate. Milk can be helpful in some cases of accidental poisoning, as it coats the stomach, and has an alkaline pH, so it can counter act excess acid. But really your best bet in poisoning cases is to contact the poison control helpline. Because drinking milk used to be the advice given in some poisoning cases, I can see how this milk and heroin rumour got started. But it's just not true, milk will not prevent heroin overdose, and milk won't reduce the effects of heroin or any other opiate.

Milk can have a calming effect. I was shroomin' with this crazy lady one time. She started wigging out real bad, she was like "I need some milk! I need some milk! So she runs into this convenient store, and grabs 2 handfuls of those little Half & Half creamers from the coffee counter. She starts chugging them down, one by one, and with every drink she got calmer... and calmer... So I start drinking them too...
The next thing I remember we're both sitting there in someone's lawn, at 3am, just calm as can be, shroomin real hard and laughing... with all these empty creamer's laying all around us. This guy opens up his front door in his pajamas, he looks at us, and we look back and wave and say "Hi ya doin? Good morning sir?" and the guy puts on his sprinkler. So we sat there and got soaked in this guy's frontyard, laughing our asses off, just getting drenched... we never got up. He had to literally chase us off!
But yeah... milk is great stuff. Good for bad trips too....

I don't know about milk killing or mediating Heroin's effects, but in Cincinnati there used to be (there still may be) a form of super-pure H called "milk." It was sold in rock form, was white, off white (sort of looked like a rock of crack), and was very very good H.

on a side note, if any of you people visited a dairy farm, you'd likely not want to drink milk. ever.
seriously...i got a weakness for good cheddar and ice cream, but drinking a glass of milk has been off my to do list ever since i read about the "acceptable pus levels" the USDA sets out.

That and that we are the only mammal that drinks another animals milk did it for me. Milk is revolting to me although I'll put some fat free milk on my cereal. But I cannot stand to drink it. And I didn't give my kids milk either.

There used to be an old wives tale in the '69 Haight-Asbury scene that injected milk can help with an overdose....

I never got scared out of eating or drinking anything I liked. I like milk. I'm not going to stop drinking it just because there's a little pus in there. Same goes for hot dogs. I like em'... I don't give a fuck what they're made out of.

not being able to get to something doesn't mean it's a shared moral decision to avoid said thing.

i love milk and drink tons of it. and i also have a friend who runs a large dairy farm, and i've seen plenty of 'em (grew up in farm country). i know about the acceptable levels of blood and pus allowed in cow's milk that's headed for human consumption. but i still love the stuff. i'll even drink the raw milk in my friend's fridge (on the dairy farm), where you can pour cream off the top for your coffee or shake it up for regular whole milk. mmmm, blood and pus! but then again, i've also eaten pork chops that i knew the name of when it was the hog that spent a summer following us kids around as my cousin's 4H project. homer was a cool pig, and quite tasty in the end. guess that's the kind of thing that only comes with growing up around farmers though.
and as much as i've tried to like that chocolate soy "milk," i can't stand it! i've tried several brands of it, but none of it tastes good to me. i may try again someday to acquire a taste for it though, since they say it's so good for you.

i went through a few years of no dairy for health reasons, and eventually i got used to the rice and soy milk. i didnt like it, but after awhile, it's not as bad as you first thought. i imagine that's kinda how the transition from vagina to men's assholes goes in prison.

UM, no. I'm neither.

So, where does this leave me? I've never liked milk. I do like soy and I do like to suck dick. I also was born blonde and am quite confused. ;)

Zweigles red hots with the natural casings cooked on a grill are the china white of dogs. Proud to say they and the perfect dog condiment French's yellow mustard are made in my hometown. For everyday microwave dogs, Ballpark all beef franks are some seriously decadent greasy little weiners that can't be beat. The bun length ones come in a very handy ziplock package for my convenience. Only the bun length though. What's up with that? "What's the deal with this packaging?"

Hot Dogs, Milk, Rare (still bleeding) meat. I love it all. I am about as far from being vegetarian as you can get. I like being at the top of the food chain.

HAHAHAHA!
On a side note, my dumbass boyfriend, well now ex bf, thinks that if you eat it takes your high away. Like for example, on the way home from copping dope, we might stop and get something to eat to take home. When we get home, I am always like come one, hurry up and let's do our shot. And he's like no, let's eat first. Like, he totally swears that if he does his shot, then eats, that it takes it away or something. Which is total nonsense, and NEVER happens to me or anyone else. I think it is just in his head for some reason, and he totally believes it.
