Another quick n00b dosing question(s)...

I UTSE and came up with a lot of info, but nothing that particularly pertained to me.

I have a usual DAILY intake of 150mg of Hydrocodone. Usually 30-37.5mg at a time, 3-4 times a day.

I am out for at least two more days, and have been for a day or so (of the hydro).

I have some 10mg methadone tablets.

I used every narcotic dosage calculator I could find online, and it seems as if 20mg of methadone would be okay for me at once.

Does this sound correct?

Second, will the Methadone still be active in my body enough to 'block' my hydro in a couple (or few) days?

Sounds decent to me. Just heed all the warnings about done and its tendency to sneak up on you when you think you did not take enough.

And methadone does not block in the manner of bupe. It can jack your tolerance up pretty good, but it does not block. Be mindful of the halflife of it when you go back to the hydro.

yeah 20mg at one time should be fine for you IMO but I'd only do that once a day. Don't take more 5 hours later like you would for the hydro. And don't expect a good buzz out of it, just get well and get some relief and hit the hydro's back up tomorrow or whenever you get more

I'm sure you can handle 30 or 40mg. That's a decent amount of hydro you're taking. But, methadone will take a long time to kick in. Give it at least 2 hours before deciding to take any more.

And if you have those little white Mallies and get the idea to crush one up and snort it... you have been warned. They burn like HELL.

I always enjoyed the methadone high. Especially when I was only using Hydro, with a low tolerance.

I know... and I did it like 5 or 6 times. At least after the first time I knew what to expect. That first one was really fucked up. I was at a family function and did it in the bathroom. I had to come out and walk around amongst 50 family members with this nuclear waste burning the fuck out of my nose. I don't remember how exactly I dealt with that...

Don't keep taking more 'done thinking you're not getting what you need - you will. Maybe not a high but you
will manage hydro w/ds. Sounds like you're limited in quantity of 'done anyway if I read your post correctly anyway.

'done takes longer to feel anything than what you're used to with hydro. And as others pointed out, you may not "feel anything" but relief but w/ds by substitutin the done for the hydro for a short time, sounds like just until you get your hands on more hydro.

Also - get that fricken TYLENOL out of all that hydro! CWE - google it or search here.

I routinely did 30-40 10mg pills a day of hydro with 325 of apap in each tablet and that is WAY too much tylenol to take on a consistent basis. I chased it or alternated (depending on what i could get) with plain, safe oxy IR with nothing else in it so I was safe there.
