Ibogaine Treatment

I spent about $2,200 for a trip to Amsterdam, iboga treatment(as much as you need) a week stay in the providers home(own room if desired), all the cannabis I could smoke, mushroom tea, and bedside care periodically throughout the process. All this was included in the price. The providers name is Sara Glatt and, although it seems like a lot of money, so was my habit... I will have been clean for a year at the end of March and I feel great. Iboga isn't a miracle cure, though. You have to really want it and be willing to possibly deal with minor withdrawal, but nothing like normal detoxing. I was on methadone, too, which is a much harder drug to kick because of it's half-life. Shorter acting opiate users may experience almost no withdrawal. It's been said switching to short-acting opiates a week or so before treatment can help with this. Anyways, if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask, I'm happy to share my experience/s.

How much over how long? did you experience any rectangulat window type apparitions? Do these folks in Amsterdam run this as a business? thats a starter, I have only talked to 5 our so people that have ever had the experience.

Okay, I arrived in Amsterdam the morning after the day that I had my last dose, and was getting sick when I was waiting for her to pick me up. Just minor stuff because I reduced my methadone dose from 100mgs a day down to about 12mgs over several months as I searched out providers and planned my trip. When we arrived at her house I was feeling like I needed my dose and she gave me a small piece of the whole plant extract, which contains all of ibogas alkaloids, not pure ibogaine.

The small pea sized amount was given to test for any bad reactions but the weird thing that happened was it took away my sickness for the whole day and I got to ride into the city and meet one of my favorite cannabis breeders of all time.

Anyways, that night when we got back, I decided to take my full dose, which Sara left up to me to decide. She said she could administer small amounts but that I would start to feel worse and the best way was to take a large enough dose to acheive the full trip. I decided on five grams of extract after she told me about other folks she treated. This was a pretty good sized dose, but I've always been a hardhead for drugs in general and especially psychedelics.

But my visions weren't like many describe, they actually had nothing to do with my problem, but I envisioned fighting in the middle east, like I was in the war or something. Not scary because I knew it wasn't real, but very strange. It may have been the special on the history channel I watched a few days before taking the trip, about Saddam Hussein. LOL, who knows... The most insight actually came after the visions and the main part of the trip. The visions lasted at least 24 hours but the experience lasted for a few days where I felt kind of out of it. I had extreme purging which helped cleanse the garbage out of my system, but that was the worst part and not everyone has the same reaction.

The lady that treated me has a home that she treats people at. She has a good reputation in the iboga community, too. Not a medical setting, but more of a modern, shamanic type trip. She did know first aid and have ability to treat several things, and had transportation to the hospital if it ever came to that, which I don't believe it ever has. She treats people based on their case and is the cheapest place I could find, that I trusted. She has had quite a bit of experience treating addicts and others who just wanted to explore it.

Only other way I could have afforded would to have been to order the iboga and have it sent to someone outside the US, who would then resend it to me(risk of customs). I couldn't travel to Canada because I have a felony, but it's available in Canada and legal, as a herbal extract, so it's not regulated.

there are plenty of providers it seems. one place rumored to sell only to clinics gave me a positive return message with prices per pound and said that they could ship to canada and mexico , and that this could be done from within the US. I wouldnt try and ship it into the US personally, but would meet the package at a pre-rented mailbox in the city of destination, perhaps San Felipe, since its such wierd landscape, and when the tide goes out, all you can see is mud for miles where the ocean was the day before.....that town is a little sketchy on size, but some of the villas are great that are for rent, and in the tourist off season the place is pretty slow, REAL slow, so you wouldnt have to deal with many people.
