Where is Heroin Paradise?

Say I wanted to drop everything and go anywhere in the world and the only requirement was that they have the best heroin and it was available , preferably cheap , all the time.....

Where would that be ?

My first guess was Amsterdam , but that seems too generic , although it may be right.

I wanted to get some dialogue going on this.

I have no responsibilities , and I want to see the world. Also , I want to shoot alot of good heroin.

Any ideas ?......

Raz is right, the NW frontier of Pakistan and the border that it shares with Afghanistan is the #1 place for heroin in the world. It's also a great place to get shot in the head if you're an American/Western white boy and/or don't speak English.

The NW border of Pakistan is truly a rogue state in and of itself, it really needs to be cleaned up; it's the base of operations for al Qaeda since they were mostly driven out of Afghanistan and is a hotbed of Islamic fundamentalism - filled with many easily persuaded and angry Muslim teenagers willing to comply with the violent commands of their leaders. No government wants to step in there, the Pakistani government has no control whatsoever over the region and doesn't really care, and the US/coalition forces in Afghanistan can't legally cross the border back over there.

Not the best place to be. Colombia might be a great place, there or somewhere in SE Asia. Read Rachamim's Cambodian travels thread.

perhaps a middle eastern country. i know the country that has like the 2nd largest amounts of narcotics anonymous meetings is Iran. they are opening lots of methadone clinics there too. opiate abuse is big there.

i would say definitely some where over in Afghanistan Pakistan or somewhere over there. the us solders are getting cheap powerful dope or opium and coming back here addicted. kind of like what happened in the Vietnam era.

Philippines had been the place where the dope was cheap ($2.00 USD for 1 gram) and extremely potent. The first time I got busy there, I put a match head size piece on the cooker and ended up ODing there right on the spot. At the time I had a 2 gram a day habit (think marble size piece of black tar) and that little match head turned me blue. My buddy kept me alive for 4 hours till I came out of it. I am sure that there might be stronger and better, but that was the best I had ever had.

Laos might be worth considering.


If you're seriously considering going some where for the dope,the gig is that most major dope producers are outside international law and dangerous,especially if you don't know what you're doing.So transport routes near production points are a much better bet.

I'm headed for Cambodia, Phnom Penh, in a few months. I just read Rachman's posts and I am now more eager than ever to go. I think most of the Lake area is gone now, does anyone know where all of the expats are hangin' now? From what I hear the 'China white' was sold mostly around the lake. Anyone know for sure? Also - I know that you can buy morphine OTC in some pharmacies. Anyone know if it is a brand/type that you can shoot? Hmmm.

what sort of price does cheap accomidation go for in those places? and is it hard to get a visa with a criminal record? i got nothing in my life right now, and i have very little to lose by going over there. and by the sounds of it there is a lot to gain :) would it be hard to get around only speaking english? i really dont know how you would go about finding gear in these places..

So , as a little update....

I thought I had found the place in Phnom Penh , Cambodia after reading a certain thread here on Opio. Turns out , things have gone awry and the prices have gone up as of late (from $20/G to $85/G). The current price inflation makes it almost comparable to what I have here in the DC area , although I'm sure the quality is much better.

I have been in contact with some of the folks in Cambodia and a good handful of them have wished death upon me and told me I am a complete idiot for considering even coming over there for such a thing.

So , I'm thinking Cambodia is a no-go.

What's next ?

India doesn't sound too appealing...

That place looks like it would kill my high instantly.

I have nothing in my life at the moment , I have a good amount of money , and I want to hop on a plane and go where the Heroin is pure and I can spend about a month just getting my nod on so I can get my run with heroin out of the way. I spend so much time and money on Heroin here , and it all fucking sucks. I have about 3 different sources , and it's all garbage , and I spend like $100 and don't even get high.

MEXICO!! Stick to say baja, or even the gulf coast near tourist hotels. There possession laws are very liberal now. Just find a good hook and your set. Lawn chair on the beach smacked back with a 6 pack and relax.

And you wont be half way around the fucken world if you need to get back to the states quickly.

Prices may not be like they in Bumfukt, but think about it, no American law but a hundred miles from the good ole US.

best to leave some money with a trusted family member stateside before you go out of the country for a trip such as this.

stay away from any country pushing maximum penalties.
stay away from Thailand, I have several freinds that almost got sucked up into other peoples games, and the drug penalties are horrendous.

India is about your best bet, or Nepal.

opium is legal in a few areas in India. a freind of mine used to get his edible opium sticks every week when he lived at a buddhist temple/monastery in India.

as well, cannabis is legal in certian areas.
and like someone said before, in certian areas away from tourist spots, ket is OTC.

and the lenient drug laws that ALMOST passed in Mexico do NOT APPLY FOR NON CITIZENS, they will squeeze every ounce of sorry and all the $$$ you and your family can offer up. you will not be excused for a small amount of heroin most likely. if certian courts do apply leniency, your comparitively rich ass will not sequester much sorrow most likely.

if you live up north, just traveling to a southern US city can be like a heroin vacation, a border town on the US side might be safer, and have more to offer.
at least in the USA you can plead for drug court and treatment options besides just incarceration.

I did have a freind that spent a nice heroin vacation in Italy, but he had to spend alot of time sucking up to get into the scene. he said it was a pretty tough scene for a pretty boy, long hair american. luckily he spoke the language.

I been to Mexico/Mexico City/San Louis Potosi, Jacky is dead on. Exactly my experience. It was difficult scoring weed. But in the end we got a hooker to hook us up.

Went there to do peyote and we did get to. But that was in San Louis Potosi during a festival Catholica dei ecease. We new someone who took us to peyote mountian. They were real careful and it isn't legal but laid back a little.

People were real nice but getting opiates was not the easy otc kinda experience people think. I couldn't get any from any pharm and i tried like literally 50 different places.

Forget Nepal bro,I have a good Nepali friend and he says bup is about as good as it gets,huge HIV/hepC rate too.I know if you look at the map Nepal looks promising,but it's not.
