Tramadol WD's if I take vics or percs?

Probably a stupid question, If I stopped taking Tramadol because I happen to come across 40 vics and like 30 percs will I still get WD's from not taking the tramadol? I'd think not because I'm still feeding the receptors but then again, if tramadol is not an opiate anyway what exactly are you WDing from?

Also, will oxydocone and hydrocodone show up as the same thing on a typical piss test? I have an old prescription for one but not the other, if I crash at work or get hurt I'll have to take a piss test.

Most people will probably answer no, you won't get w/d from switching, but I have always had a different reaction to trams than other pain meds. I take hydro, oxy and trams and stopping any of them causes w/d regardless of whether I'm taking the others. Pod tea daily has helped minimize any symptoms for me.

I don't know about vics/percs but I have been on tramadol for 7 months, (200 to max 350 mgs a day) and last week I took 10 mgs of methadone because I was in too much fucking pain and the trams didn't help anymore. But since I didn't want to take both meds I just skipped the tramadol for 24 hours. No ill effects as far as I could tell...
Now I'm alternating between the two, I take my tramadol daily but once every three or four days I take 5 or 10 mgs of done if my pain is out f control and on those days I use only 1 tram capsule (50 mgs) or no tramadol at all..
Ofcourse vics/percs aren't as strong as methadone but then again, I take a very low dose.

Tramadol has SNRI properties so you're also wd-ing from an anti-depressant but I didn't feel like I was. But keep in mind: I'm not a doctor and a lot depends on hight of dosage.. I wouldn't experiment too much. Be careful & take care.

they do have to test specifically for hydro and oxy each--the test will show both if you have taken both within the last 72 hours give or take 12 hours. Also depends on what type of test--typical 5 panel in office, neither will show, but if it is extenisve 9,10,11,12 panel type or if they send it to a lab which sounds like they might given the liability issues, they will be able to easily detect both the hydro and the oxy, Maybe ask around at work if anyone has had to take one to understand how extensive it is.
