I should be happy that I can catch a decent buzz from this from time to time, but when my stomach tells me 'you're a fucking idiot' and the back of my head feels like it just caught fire, and you can only take so much during the day, I wonder, why can't my opiate standards be as high as my standards for girls?
I also shouldn't complain that the place I got these for free also has given me 5mg percs and norcos pro bono, should I?

Well, I know I always miss'em both when they're gone...and always blame them both for all my troubles...but eventually, don't worry, yer standards for both will drop, and *still* they'll get harder and harder to find....'til eventually you'll be thrilled to get a couple of tylenol 3's and have the barmaid at the jukejoint just remember yer name! Life: not for the faint of heart....

Opiates and girls??? Is this a UTC (Urgent Treatment Center) that you got these, or another medical facility? Or was it a dealer?
Yeah, Tylenol 3's aren't great, but it's better than nothing. Be thankful you didn't get Tramadol. The UTC's here love to give people that. One time I came in with a really bad sprained ankle (because I tripped and fell at work) and they weren't going to give me anything until I said "can you give me something for the pain." They said how about Tramodol, and I said that I don't think that would be strong enough, I've taken it before. Then they gave me Tylenol 3, which didn't work because I was taking Prozac at the time, and Prozac inhibits the CYP enzyme necessary to metabolize codeine into morphine, which is why codeine works in the first place. So, basically, you can eat all the codeine you want on Prozac, you're not going to feel anything. I even told them I was on Prozac, go figure. So, I called the next day from work, told them the T-3's weren't helping, and they called in a script for Vicodin. The hoops you have to go through, for even something as trivial as Vicodin.
I'm FAR from normal when it comes to opiates, but i love tramadol AND codeine. Maybe it's cause i have a low enough tolerance. Well, actually i haven't had tramadol since my tolerance increased, last i recall i had to take around 4 of them to feel it. But tramadol nods are great, if you take some benzos you can get a nod from it, and get those hypnic jerks (NOT seizures, common misconceptions).
Codeine, i like it because even at low doses you can really "feel" it, even if there isn't much euphoria, it makes you itch, which, for me, makes me -think- i'm high.
Ahhhh memories. I should order some tramadol one of these days just for old time's sake.

Don't feel bad: they just about beat me up and threw me off of Opy for admitting I liked propoxyphene,:
hell I used to cross the Brownsville border and score a few boxes of mexican neo-percodans (propoxyphene) and a bottle of bacaradi and be happy as a clam...it wasn't until many years later, I got online and my betters instructed me what a terrible lowlife useless drug this was, and how ignoble and pathetic I had been for doing such crap all those years...I still haven't got over the shame of it all... :uhhohh:
Reminds me of how i never got restless legs syndrome from withdrawal until i heard about it online, then the next time i withdrew from opiates......WTF?!?!

i dont understand, are you complaining that you can still get high off T3s that you got for free? was that a rhetorical question at the end? i understood each individual word in the post, but when you put them all together it makes no sense to me. it sounds like youre unhappy that you can still get high off of codeine and that you wish you had to take harder opiates...thats just weird dude.

Wow Indy you are one lucky guy having a tolerance like that. I believe 99% of us on the board would have wet dreams over a tolerance like that and do anything to get it back down there!

It was more 'Sure I can get high from it, but is it worth it?' Kinda like, I can get drunk from bathtub gin, but it's no fun.
