I have these time capsules {morphine}

I have the time release caps with little beebees inside, how can i turn it into something IV able?????:confused: they are called "MAGNUS"

i just ran out of immediate release sublingual 10 mg morphine sulfate pills , tiny and dissolve immediately in water no filtering i just dropped em in rig pulled up water[sterile] and woopee!!

If yes, then it should work like this:

Open the cab, crush the beebees, add the powder to a small vessel, add some water and one drop of acid (HCl, or just ascorbic acid) and let it rest over night. You can prepare a bigger amount, then the yield is worth the effort.

Then pipette off the clear layer and discard the powder on the bottom. Add some Na2CO3 (the stomach pills) until white precipitate forms at pH 9.1 (or somewhat around 9 is enough), filter the powder and dry it. Thats the clean method.


The other way is to just cook them a little longer in the spoon. I havent done the second, but several people said, that they do it this way. Just use a good filter then (syringe with 0.22).

p.s . you seem knowledgeable...do you know anything about "m 4" dilaudids. i.e. hypothetically prep for inject...i dissolve in water but there is a small amout of white in spoon.

No, Im not very knowledgeable with I.v. just started a few weeks ago. And I have never done oxies or hydros. Sorry.

With stomach-pills I just meant these Na2CO3 (Carbonate) pills, that you take when you have too much acid in the stomach. They dissolve very fast in the mouth and I think one has to dissolve them in water anyway. Taste like salt, pretty gross.

You can use those to basify the solution. Although a clean chemical like ammonia or labgrade na2co3 or naoh would be better.
