I attended Mindstates 4 a couple years ago, it was great, 3 days of mainly entheogen and drug discussions. I have never seen so many different psychoactive cacti in one room before, I got to meet Dr Shulgin, talk to one of the people responsible for bringin kratom plants into the united states , and met some cool people. Alex Grey will have an event after hours party at this one like he did at the mindstates 4. there was also a library of drug/consiousness research publications for sale , and that was really great to see all those titles in one room..... In a rather small collection of people at any given mindstates will be some world renown movers speaking and attending.

I live very close to the palace of fine arts but unfortunately can't affor the 3 days...however I am a huge fan of Alex Grey and might attend that after hours party. How was that Jacky? The site doesn't say when it starts or where (do you remember from you experience?)

Thanks for the post...I would have never known

I didnt go to the after party, I was too tired, and was staying in oakland for the night, the party was in the city. I am sure that people besides mindstates attendees are able to buy tickets to Alex's deal. His website has a calender that may have the info you seek.
