Morphine OD on First Time IV

I just IV'ed half of an Ethex Morphine Sulfate 15 mg. You probably know I was going to do that if you've been reading my threads you're probably sick of them by now. Well you guys almost got your wish. I think I actually came the closest to death I've ever been in my life. When I broke it down, when I first added water it turned to gel, so I added a shitload more water and managed to get it thin enough to put in my 1 cc ultra thin. I shot about 50 units of it and all of a sudden I felt a thump in my heart and then it felt like someone had punched me right in the diaphram. I jumped up and started literally gasping for breath and my knees were shaking so bad I fell twice on my way out the door. I ran across the street and this lady was pulling in to a parking space and I started wheezing to her help me help me I'm overdosing I can hardly breath call 911. And she was freaking out like are you serious why are you taking morphine. Then just like that I was fine, it went away, and I was like, ummm I'm sorry don't worry it's okay. I think it passed. I'm sorry I take it for my back and I missed a dose and doubled up, do you want some money? She was like no, just go home and lay down or something. So anyway, It was the scariest shit I've ever felt in my life, second to overdosing on coke, which I havn't touched since. I am never slamming anything again unless it's a roxy.

Maybe you should lay off the drugs for awhile, but 1/2 of a 15mg morphine almost OD you? Dont people who are in the hospital get afew mgs of morphine and they dont even have a tolerance. Sounds like it was an anxiety attack if anything, Shit when I overdosed on Fent I didnt have time to do anything eye lids closed and that was it luckily my dad walked in right after it happen

It could've been an anxiety attack, I don't know. I have a HUGE tolerance to opiates, regardless of what the people on here think they know about me, so yeah it must've been an anxiety attack or some sort of binder that was on the pill. I don't know though. What I need to figure out now is what to do with the rest of the morphine. I've got a spoonfull of crushed 15mg morphine and no way am I shooting it. Can you snort it?

When you OD for real, it is more like "Oh fuck.................................then nothing.................then wake up hopefully in the hospital with a bunch of docs/nurses around you".

It may have actually been because you were shooting gel. If you are going to do something, do it right. There are a bunch of threads on how to properly prepare pills that gel. It wasn't an od nobody od's on 7.5mg of morphine, no matter how low their tolerance is.

That in and of itself should be enough to ban him, because if he does do it and write a note saying "no one on opiophile cared about me" then someone comes here and sees all of the stuff people are telling him (which is justified in my opinion--you can only help someone so much before they start to annoy you, especially when they insist on contradicting the advice and telling you that you're the one with the problem) and decided to hold the site liable. That's worth banning in my opinion.

Second of all, there's a stickied thread about morphine pills, and Ethex is on there, and they do gel. If you would take five seconds out of your boring life to do a proper search you would know that. You would have also know the proper way to cook up a pill that gels, and you would have also known that that wasn't an OD, it was from you shooting gel, which is really really stupid, and just proves that you are too immature to be on this board.

Thirdly, I have no sympathy for you. You come off as needing help, then you absolutely shit on everyone who tries to help you by telling them they're wrong, by spamming the board with the same question over and over, with just barely minor alterations to the question, you're extremely lazy in that you won't do searches, and you just come across as being an immature bratty teenager.

of course you can snort them. you can snort wasabi too, but i wouldnt suggest it. if you have any kind of tolerance 15 mg of morphine wont do shit to you. maybe times that by 10.

Listen Chester, I'm not going to slam you because we are all free to ignore your posts. But you have established quite a pattern of asking simple questions (the type that a user should already know the answer to), ignoring the advice given to you, and then rephrasing basically the same question in a different forum. Second of all, people are trying to help. Just because you don't like the advice being given doesn't change that. People see a young kid making poor decisions that can lead to death or a merciless habit. We have ALL been there and if there is one thing I appreciate about this site, it's that people will try to prevent you from making the same mistakes they've made.

You know, you need to quit this fucking "poor me" bullshit. First off, no one here is wishing you dead, we're just sick of you being a pain in the ass. You can't seem to get it through your head, we've all tried to help you, you NEVER UTFSE, and you ask the same question 15 different ways and then become a total drama queen when someone tells you to quit asking the same question over and over...your stories vary and are all over the place, one day you are getting high off a couple hydro's, the next day your slamming Roxy 30's like they're nothing.

Everytime I read his posts, my blood pressure skyrockets, and that's scary because I already take blood pressure medicine each day for that. But, I'll try my best. I just feel that if you're going to do drugs, either know what your doing by researching your questions yourself, or be humble enough to ask for advice and then listen to it. The bioavailability of snorting or ingesting morphine is very low, and a poor method of administration. However... it would be a far cry better than what you experienced injecting it. Personally... I'd suggest you shove it up your ass. :D (Sorry... it's the only time I can tell someone that and it's actually good advice.)

On that note... I highly doubt you'll feel such a small amount. Maybe hold off until things settle down a bit. Take care and be safe dude!!

I just wanted to say that i think what happened to you was due from the gel from the pill. BTW, the one th!ing i learned since i have been a member here is that you have to have strong will and let things roll off of your back, don't take this the wrong way but you do have the tendency to as the same questions over and over again i say i would suggest doing searches and taking your time and if you feel the need to ask then don't let anyone stop you from having your say...and with that i will wish you luck!

Don't mean to sound rude, but half of 15 mg (7.5mg) IV'd doesnt sound like even close to enough to OD anyone. Including the most intolerant of wimps. It was probably pins and needles..... the feeling i oh so love.

Yeah, I HIGHLY doubt that 7.5mg IV'd would kill anyone. I want to say the LD50 for morphine is 100mg oral or about 30-40mg IV for someone with NO tolerance, but I could be wrong about that. I'm pretty sure that anything from 4-10mg IV is considered the "standard" dose for someone with no tolerance in hospital settings, depending on pain level of course. The only way I could see it hurting someone is if they were allergic to opiates, and had an allergic reaction, or if the were on another depressant at the same time. But, even if they were on a benzo or something, I still don't think 7.5mg would be likely to kill them.
