I am going to see a shrink to day. I will con him into prescribing my favorite benzo, temazepam, for sleep. Two of the 30mg's and I am in la la land. I haven't used any benzo at all for about eight years. I have only used those non-benzo benzo's in the last eight years (ambien, sonata, zopiclone), mostly because for much of that time, I was on a mandatory drug testing deal - no, not for probation, it was for my job.
So, I'm lookin' forward later today to droppin' some good old temazepam. Bright yellow mylan brand generic temazepam 30mg capsules, with an imprint of "MYLAN 5050" on them. brings back memories. Hopefully, that's still what CVS is filling those scripts with.
I intend on getting some 100mg bupropion tablets to snort too.

Well, things are going o.k. my buprenorphine intake has decreased a lot since I've been using the temaz. and wellbutrin.
I think maybe I gotta get rid of the wellbutrin, because it's a little too stimulanty, if you know what I mean...

yeah-wellbutrin is like a tweaker's version of an SSRI.
on a slightly off note, am i the only person that thinks that :confused: is slightly reminiscent of a poppy pod? the little question marks being like the little poky bits at the crown of the pod? maybe i'm just sleep deprived. or something.
Those little damn pokey bits always cut my palms and fingers. I know what you mean about them but nothing else.:cool:

Have you done this before without a mishap? What did it do for you?
Too much wellbutrin and mixing it with other meds can cause seizures...

You can snort Wellbutrin? No shit, that doesn't tear you up? If it's bioavailable through insufflation I would assume you would get quite a different effect out of it. Isn't Bupropion a Pheneythlamine? Closely related if not, I am sure.

Yessirree...I love the Temazzies, too. We get 30mg and 15mg Rx'd to us. Great benzo for anxiety and sleep. I love Xanax too (actually, we get the generic, Alprazolam), but more for recreational purposes. I was recently re-introduced to Valium (haven't had any for years) and now I remember how much I like them recreationally, too. They don't make me sleepy, just loopy enough to bounce off the walls and post shit on message boards that I won't remember the next day, heheh.

It's not euphoric at all in any way. I tried snorting some and it was a horrible experience. I just felt wide awake, but in a very bad way. It would be like someone snorting paxil and getting high off it.

In some cases, Wellbutrin is a seizure in itself. I was prescribed to it for a few months. It's a speed trip, but I didn't find it pleasant: Inability to sleep, nightmares, dizziness. I've heard of imprisoned meth addicts snorting it along with other antidepressants in desperation.

I get Temazepam 30mg like water out of a tap, but I have no idea how to go about using them recreationally. I just take one or two, wait an hour then fall asleep.
What should I be feeling (other than sleepy)? How much can I take? What are they good to mix with?
I also get estazolam. Is that any good?

Yeah, I actually have a freind that is prescribed those extended release Bupropion pills and he will take like 4 or 5 (sometimes more, he eats them like popcorn) and just chew the bastards up. He just sits there sucking on them like they were Coca leaves. He had always said that he got psychedelic-like effects off of them, and I figured this was plausable being a Phenethylamine and all... so one day I asked him to try a few in the name of research. I just crushed them up and parachuted them, no way was I going to sit there and have to taste that nasty shit all day. Anyways, the effects reminded me more of a DXM or Dimenhydrinate type trip then traditional psychedelics... which I am not a fan of. It was a dirty dirty buzz, my cigarettes tasted like shit all day (they never did make me not want to light up though), and they kept pumping this vile smelling sweat out of me that made me smell like a horse barn... really just like horse shit. I don't see any reason to repeat this little experiment.

Jussa lil' update from your humble research correspondent. Out in the field, as it were.
I been sniffin these wellbutrins steadily, on and off, with two to three day breaks in between, for about four months now, and no seizures yet. I am sometimes taking some generic prozac 20mg too. Keeps my mood stable.
I have tried taking large doses of bupropion orally, to no avail. The only thing I get is a really slight drowsiness. BUT, when tooted in 50-75mg bumps ( to the best of my estimation, because they're 300mg tablets, and I'll get from four to six snorts from one tablet, it provides a stimulant euphoric buzz definitely akin to ampetamine, methylphendiate, or some of the better diet pills (like phendimetrazine, my favorite diet pill).
And the thing thats the best about it is there is NO harsh come-down like with pretty much ALL stimulants. This could be because of the unique properties of the drug, or it could be becasue I am on bupe all the time, which prolly cushions it some.
I am keenly aware of the seizure deal with this shit too, and I haven't had any so far. My max is doing 2100mg in one day, and the only thing I got was a leg twitch one time, something I've gotten from other stims like amps.
So, I'd definitely recommend that some a y'all try it. don't get caught up in all that hype about it. It's NOT a controlled substance which makes it so much better.

EDIT: I'd be super careful about using benzos with bupe. Only reports of death on bupe I've seen involved concommitant benzo use- at normal doseages.

No one asked this question.... but I can tell you the psychodelic effects from bupropion are not the fun kind... they are the psychotic kind, and very real...
As an upper, I've heard that they were good for a very low-grade buzz, but the risks are too high in my opinion... because its really unknown what kind of bad mix it can have with other chemicals when you are on that high of a dose (talking about zoops highest dose report).
I read a girl's story on one of these patient-rating pharm web sites. Her doc fucked up and put her on a very high dose, and she was fine for a little while but actually started to descend into psychosis and didn't realize it (her words). Then one day out of nowhere, bam, siezure.
But zoop, I think you have the right idea, take it with benzos and take breaks, because that should keep things at bay. As for Hammilton's comment about benzos, I've read that its not the benzos that caused seizures, it was the WD from benzos... so zoop you may wanna watch that too.
But keep us up to date, man, I'd like to hear more that you learn.

It's just that I can't seem to NOT refill a pharm script. If it's got refills on it, and insurance is paying at least part of it, I fill 'em all. Don't know why, either.. Maybe a little compulsive/obsessive, I dunno...

Here we are four months later and I'm keepin' the status quo. Still tootin' about 100mg of the peeled (gott peel ''em or you got a problem). MY best way to do this is to take one Wellbutrin (R) XL tablet 300g at time, and use a sharp paring or some kind of small knife of that sort. Hold the little tablet firmly between two forefingers or thumb and forefinger. USe s slight slicing motion away from yourself, across the edge, all the way ruound, until you got a pill with no coating around the edges. The top and bottom coating is easy. Just pushin up around the top coating up from the sides all the way around, and most of the time it'sll come up in one piece.
so, now get a good-size piece of thick ass paper and spush down with the butt end of pestle (that's the little-bat shaped pieced t,
Rail up a nice, coke-sized line, and (blow yoru nose first othhhhhp['k,
Works. Errry tahm. cept no fo long. As you can see, that 60mh dose of temazzies has take effect. bye bye.

Went to see the shrink last Friday (this was 1 September '06) and it was a substitute for the normal doctor. this substitute doc was coooooool.
He gave me some more of the Wellbutrin, which BTW is for some reason a real-live stimulant in me, AAAAND scrip for 90 temaz. 30mg!
I couldn't believe it! So, I filled it and now I got plenty of those beautiful generic bright yellow 'Mylan 5050' capsules!

everytime i get a refill and its something good. (I know this is kinda weird) I open the top and sniff in the bottle. while I'm sniffing it I think, "fresh meds" I swear to god it's a good habit to get into.

those maylan 5050's got me in alot of trouble, and a very harsh addiction to benzos. dont play too hard or ull be the same it takes only 4 of them for me to become completly hooked on them. i dont play with them anymore. i wolnt touch them with a 10 footer
