Sorry for the somewhat misleading title but like most H users who have tried the needle,prefer it and stick to it, i am somewhat different...as much as i love IV, i almost always add a little IM in there was well for longevity, i dunno if this a dumb idea or hwat but it seems to work...Basicallyill load up my first rig, fire it the shoulder....the load up the second rig, and then IV it wherever is available...the IV hits instantly of course and then like 10 min later the IM starts kickin in with a slower more drawn out...although i don't get the most BANG for my buck as far as fucked-upness goes (is that a word?) i do get a pleasing mix of great rush, slower rush, and my dope lasts me quite a while longer...anyways i always thought that people either avoid the needle like the plague and stick to snortin/smoking, and when or if they do use it, they stick to IV...I was wondering if there were any "in-betweeners" like myself who although they shoot everytime, they do a IV/IM combo...

I have been thinking if IM might be an option, mainly cause there is less danger to get particles into the loodstream (which is probably only a "beginner"-fear) and because IM might last longer.

Theoretically IM should get more of the H then snorting, as lots go down the nose when you just snort.

But then, when I had just prepared a super-clean shot, with NP wash, 0.22 syringe filter, double cooked distilled water, just then I read this article about 10 people in the UK and several in Norway, who have dies of Anthrax, after IM of heroin. No IV users were hurt, only the IM users. Explanation was that the bacteria could breed better in the muscle.

I jsut wonder, how the anthrax got in there? Did a sheep vomit on the H? Or was it an attack?

quite likely the anthrax was put int he heroin intentionally, somewhere int he middle east by some crazy fucker who just wanted to kill some westerners and get on the front page of some paper

about the IM vs IV....IM is NOT less likely to get particles into your body; your bloodstream maybe, but better in yoru blood than your muscles

in yoru blood it can be filtered out by the kidneys and anything else....in the muscle it just sits there, dies and fucks you...leaves you with no arm

don't bother with IM unless you have USP grade shit

^^^You are absolutely right.. i recently learned this and have since given up on IM..although IM completely destroys snorting in terms of high-ness, im the risk of infection/disease/abscess especially and even death are GREATLY increased with IM instead of IV...IV is much safer than IM actually as i have found out...so, stick to IV..the rush is better anyway..

Would anthrax and other die if one shoots well boiled shots? Our brownie needs to be boiled well with cirtric acid after it dissolves. I might start a topic of this after little investigation.

If you IV your body has better chance of fighting off bacteria etc..But if you get it under the skin its going to abscess.
In 17 years of shooting heroin the only serious health issues I ever had were missing veins and getting abscesses.
Ive always used the tar heroin though so..

not a bad idea to bang a couple bags and get the ride going but then to muscle or sniff a bag or two is good idea me thinks cause it seems to take it's time hitting you. kinda of like a time release?ya thinks?:cool:

I did IM shots for many months as my primary ROA and never had any of the problems mentioned..

and YES, for sure you get quite wasted on IM (takes about 15 mins but you still get a low grade rush), more than off sniffing and it does have legs...
