Banging Oxycontin after Dosing on Methadone Earlie

I dosed at 30 mgs for two days, skipped one day, then dosed two more days. Today I am wondering if I bang half of an oxycontin 80, will I feel it or will the methadone block it out? I heard that oxycodone breaks through methadone, that they prescribe it as a breakthrough medication for patients on methadone. Does oxycodone break through the methadone barrier?

First off, the pool was a joke. Second, grow the fuck up. Listen to what other people with more experience have to say, we're not just telling you this stuff because we're bored. The instructions for macaroni are on the box, dishwashers are not rocket science-if you need to then read the manual. When you don't pay any attention to what others say when you ask them a question and argue constantly, you come off as a real asshat. If you do this irl, it's probably the reason that people don't like you. Have you ever thought about getting off the drugs and maybe joining the military? You would gain a lot of real life experience, learn how to take care of yourself, and learn a trade(they also pay for school). Get away from the drugs while you still have a chance. You are in for a short painful life if you keep up what you are doing now.

Chester - it may SEEM like it, but all these people are NOT hating on you. It sounds like you are out on your own for the first time, and you generally ask the same question: is this type of oxy going to break through 30mgs of methadone that you took this morning, perhaps after skipping a few days.

The thing is: No one really knows for sure. Everyone is different. I'm on bupe - I went for 8 days without, got some percs from a surgery (pre-bupe, with enough of them I ccould usually get a reasonable buzz) but couldnt feel SHIT after all the time, not even pain relief. The bupe in my system blocked it.

Now jonny here on the site can feel his dope at night even if he doses sub in the morning of the same day, so we're completely different (his stuff WAS stronger than what I had at the time). I hate him for it but like him too much to really hate him. Just jealous is all.

I'm a parent of two kids in their twenties, they make bonhead decisions at times, and do things that drive me crazy sometimes, but I have never wished them dead and your parents do not wish YOU were dead either. They would likely be devastated. No matter what has happened between you. Take that comment about you dying with a grain of salt. Believe it or not it was meant to be sarcastically funny in its own way. No one here wants to see ANYONE die.

I think people are saying: "pick your poison". Decide to do either the methadone consistently (and no one is recommending that aparoach, since your habit is not that bad ayet nd at some point you'll get hooked on it, and it's damn hard to get off of 'done then when its too late.) Or get hold of a consistent connection for the oxys and bang away.

....or do whatever kind of pills you can get. Mixing oxy of any form on the same day as methadone (under certain circumstances) can fuck you up - and not in a GOOD fucked up way.

As far as using the dishwasher, does it have a booklet? If not, they are mostly the same. Load up the dishes, put in the soap (the kind that is MADE for dishwashers) and then turn the knob or push the button to "normal wash and dry". That should do it for ya.....

Chester, if you look way back at your original threads, people were not "hating on you". I think the more experienced people here are just plain frustrated is all. So never take what is said on a Internet board personally. If you do not like the advice, just say Fuck 'em... they can take it.

If people on this board hated you they wouldn't be trying to keep you safe. You just don't like the answers you are receiving. If people hated you they would say "Yes, methadone is a great drug. Stay at the clinic! Up your dose, and add some benzos while you are at it." Instead you get people who have been in your shoes, who have already lived this life... and they are TRYING to help you avoid the mistakes that they made. That's the opposite of hate. No one hates you but when you blatantly ignore the advice given to you (and clog up the board with similar questions) you aren't going to make a lot of friends.
