Every month I get about 5 or 6 of the name brand yellow abbot 4mg dillies from a friend. I have always fixed them just like the old k4's. I crush them, slide them into the back of the rig pull up some h2o, shake em up a little and then bang it. there is usually some (tiny amount) of the yellow powder left in the rig so after i shoot, before taking the needle out i draw up some blood and then shoot again and it is usually all gone after that. A week or so ago I ran into some 2mg generic dilly's that my bro told me you have to cook up and when i did the buzz was awesome. one 2mg hit me about the same as a 4mg abbott.
i do not know what brand the generic's were, but anyway if I were to cook the abbott's up instead of cold shaking them would i get more dope out of it? a better rush? more for my money? I have been doing the cold shake thing for years. So next month when they roll around again should i cook the abbotts or just keep doin what im doin? I know that cooking and filtering is the SAFER way to go, but buzz wise, would they be better if I cooked them? anyone know?

i never had the abbott brand, but you could always try cooking one hit to see if you get a better rush. i wouldn't cook it very much though... it seems that when heat is needed, just gentle heat is usually enough rather than a full-on boil.
either way, please start at least using a filter whether you heat them or not. even small amounts of that solid shit isn't good for you, especially if you're doing it regularly. someday you might find that your heart valves need replaced because of that shit building up and making a home on them. and really, it hardly takes any extra time at all to run your hit through a filter.

Right now i have pms (PharmaScience...Canadian generics). What I do is crush up required amount and place it on a sterile cooker and add 3cc of H2O and let it soak for 10-15 minutes. No heat. Works great. I think heating just adds more undesirables into the solution.
I used to be able to get Endo 8's. Those I would cook up and there was no residue. Those true 'shake and bake' dillies aren't made anymore I don't think. if they are they would be very highly regulated.

ya add heat...it kills bacteria...and you will see all of the water start to come out and form a clear ring around the powder...just dont cook too long...only until its hot or you see a few tiny bubbles and then stop. Also if you add heat wait a min for it to cool off so you dont draw up any of the binder and have it clog the needle when it cools.

I always added a little heat, but the fuck do I know? Damn quitters, man...
I throw em in a spoon, crush, cold water, stir, cotton, draw. Easiest pill to bang, and IMO thee best pill peroid.
Ya and doing a quick boil helps kill bacteria.

pimp, by just using cold water is gonna take u 10x longer then just using hot/warm water then stirr till it all dissolved then suck threw filter. What bacteria on a pilll?

For me those pills dissolve so fast, I just give a quick sitr and like 90% of the powder is gone.
Bacteria can be on the outside of the pill, possibly in the water, possibly on the spoon.

I think you might be wrong about this. I'm pretty sure you'd need to bring the shot to a boil and hold it for at least a minute before most/all of the bacteria is killed. Just flash boiling it won't kill all/most of the bacteria.
(most websites recommend boiling water for 1+ minute to kill bacteria)

Well, I guess I'll just have to wait and try it myself - everyone seems so divided here. I doubt that prepping them like oxy's or h shouldn't make it a weaker buzz - so I shouldn't have much to lose. i wish i had one right now though.
