Yesterday I banged something for the first time. The something was Roxicodone 30's, which gave me a good rush the first two times, but on the third I hardly felt it. Anyway, I'll most likely stick to eating those from now on, even though the rush was great, it only lasted a few minutes and I feel like eating them lasts longer.

Anyway, like I said, it was my first time. I used brand new needles and even doused my spoons in hydrogen peroxide. However, I wasn't very good at getting into my veins. I only dosed 3 times yesterday, but I can now count 16 puncture marks on my arm. About six of them are up and down the big vein in the middle of my left wrist that sticks out the most. Ironically, I didn't dose in that vein once, rolled it every time. The needlemarks on that vein are all purple and bruised. I figure that's okay and will go away, but higher up, on one of the successful needlemarks, not in the crook of my elbow but about an inch below it and to the right, there's about an area an inch in diameter that has a light pink tone to it and it is tender when I touch it. Does this mean that area is infected? I'd really appreciate some help on this. Thanks.

It's impossible to say,but if it's painful, swollen, hot and discoloured, keep a close eye on it and if it gets worse or is still there after 3-4 days......go to your ER.

If in doubt always get medical attention.

Oh and welcome to the big leagues.

Thanks. I've been working up to this for awhile. And, I'm actually proud of myself that I'm not going and selling my XBOX 360 to go and get more berries to shoot. I got high yesterday, yeah, but today I was like, I can either do that and get high again and fuck up my arm some more, or I can go dose on my 30 mgs of methadone at the clinic every two days until I get paid again, then get some more. And when I do, like I said, I'll probably just eat them. Everyone told me that if I picked up a needle I'd never put it down. Well, It feels really empowering to know that they were wrong.

Ummm man,I'm not saying it's going to happen to you,but shooting up isn't always instantly addictive. It can be a slow process.

Just try and keep injecting to a minimum and always shoot safe.

Yeah I mean, I wouldn't post at a board where people said yeah go and shoot up all you want. I think it's great that people on here are serious about the advice they give. I was speaking more about my personal friends that I know here in town. They act like people who use needles are lepers or something, like it's the most shocking thing ever and I don't know. It's just ignorant to me.

if you do do it again, try and stay away from your wrist...not the best place to shoot.

stop touching it and looking at it. its probably fine, but like nick suggested, go to the doc anytime a condition gets worse.

but seriously quit fucking with it and it'll be fine before you know it.

I'd give at least two years before you get to that point.

I think you shot in the vein on the inside of your arm instead of the one on the outside. IF you ever shoot again, shoot in the vein towards the dark side of your arm instead of the one to the right of it by the white part of your arm. That is, if you are a cracker like me

Wow this thread pisses me off. With all the harm reduction and safe shooting methods we have on this site PLUS all the other sites on the net and you managed to wreck your arm like that. Unfuckin believable. Doesnt deserve any responses in my opinion.

It was my first time, this thread is from awhile ago in case you didn't notice. You telling me that as soon as your parents took the training wheels off your bike you rode it without ever wrecking?

XBOX sucks anyway, I wish my dealer would give me some weed and oxy for my Wii.
