So on my left arm there is a certain vein on my bicep that has been giving me an odd sensation when I inject into the vein below it. It doesn't matter where I inject as long as it's somewhere between that spot on my bicep down to my wrist and as long as it is part of the same vein.
Seconds after I push down the plunger there is a strange tingling sensation that I can feel right under the skin on my left bicep. The spot where it tingles is an old injection site that I used once maybe twice. There is no scar there and I never had an abcess or pushed through the vein there and this has been happening for the last 3-4 months. IT almost feels like someone has a little feather and is quickly back and forth over this tiny little area.

I can't think of anything else to say but hopefully someone knows what is going on here.

It may just be leaking slightly. Some of whatever you are injecting would get into the surrounding tissue and possibly cause a mild histamine release or irritation.

thats weird, and it happens to me in weird spots too, ive always chalked it up to leaky veins, cause its always at old injection sites. do you get a histamine reaction there?

No not there but I have been getting them in other areas on my body but....well...no know that I think about it I have had a few and in other spots that are probably also due to leaky veins that maybe don't give me the same sensation but do leak.
I may just have to avoid that vein for awhile.

Wouldn't leaky veins eventually repair themselves?

Depends on the amount of damage.Try and use another vein if you can. Then try it in a few months,

i got one similar in my hand, cept mine feel like its tingling like i hit a nerve, and my fingers go all weird for a bit after. its a vein ive been using for years... every now and them ll try it when i cant get another... if i continue with the shot after feeling the tingle i will get a weird heat in my finger tips too.... it lasts for a while.... so i try to avoid. dont get me wrong. its not a missed shoy. its is fully regestered through the whole process, as i draw back during the process to make sure i dont lose the vein.

So I just five minutes ago had another very odd strange and interesting thing happen.

I got sun burnt today and I'm in that stage where it's just starting to show up. Im turning red and have that hot pulsing feeling all over. After thinking about it I've never fixed up a shot while sunburnt mostly because I don't see much sun when Im strung out or in general because I normaly work night shift and I hate the sun so I try to avoid it at all costs.
Immediately after the shot the tingle/rush that you normally get was replaced with a hot burning sensation in all of the red areas on my body. It basically just intensified the already warm sun burnt feeling for 7 seconds or so.
It's so interesting the effect that opiates can have. It wasn't all that bad really and it vetainly won't keep me from doing more later on.
The allergic reactions that opiates cause and the effects on vision and the digestive tract etc fascinate the shit out of me. The buzz and high is nice too

And on that note ny nod is strating to come on and Im seeingd ouble now so I gotta cut this short.
and for your help guys. I appeciate it...

i havn't slammed anything in a few years and once in awhile " my favorite vein" will swell up and where i used to inject will get red and look like i just fixed there with a moscito bite looking bump--and it itches too----weird---
