Problems hitting a vein

Any tips on making it eassier?

I mean at times it like 1 shot wonder then other I pin cushion myself and almost give up.

I used years back dunno, any help would be great 25 vials of Morphine on the way.

Get a bad habit, then get dopesick, then miss a shot. After that is comes a little easier.

Warmth and relaxation helped me; maybe even jump in the shower (moanin' shot thank the lawdy!) If you're cold, tense, or just woke up your vessels will be more constricted.

When I first started I was actually playing b-ball almost everyday and I could hit arm vein with my eyes closed. Now it just takes a sleeve, a deep breath, and a tie-off...

Yeah, I just went thru Katrina, Moved to CO, GF took the car so I shrunk, when I worked out they looked like they were popping outa my skin....guess loosing 12 pounds in 2 weeks and eating benzos dropping yer blood preassure dont help...

Can Liquid Valium be IM'd
I am purty sure Morphine can....Its not like I am new to the game just gave it up for a while, thought for good.

Ha no shit... yeah I figured you weren't too new (yer profile) or I probably wouldn't have tried to help...

As for IM I hate muscle popping (only done it a couple of times) seems like it hurt too much for my taste. I'd just go for the geyser.... but i'd guess both can be done IM since they're pharmy liquid.

Get yourself warm and the blood pressure up. Doing some weights will help bring veins to the surface for easier hitting.
I cannot stress it enough.....Water, water, and more water....Drinking lots of fluids will help.
If the morning shot is hardest, take a warm bath or shower. Have your shot ready to go before your shower and get it right as you get out. Do some exercise as well.

Most preps in a vial can be injected through a vein. While some meds may burn and need to be diluted, you can use by injection, unless it specifies otherwise. Some meds if given IM need to be given deep in the muscle and a insulin syringe just won't work. This does lead to abscesses if you intend to give an IM and use a small needle and go SQ.

Valium is going to burn and if giving it IV, go slow. You may feel a bit of short of breath, if given too fast, but that should go away. And please.....Do not mix opiates and benzodiazepines. The two, given together, especially IV can be dangerous. Both are respiratory depressants and many OD's don't happen from opiates alone, but actually a mix of two respiratory depressants; ie: Valium and Morphine. It's tempting, but a whopping dose of Narcan will end any good time quickly.
Just a word of advice and not only from personal experience, but from professional as well.

I think its the droppin 15 pounds in 2 weeks thing, before that old faithfull was still all good, I lumped myself a little cuz I just got pissed, I am sure alot of us have and said fuck it I will find a non artery sooner or later, arms a little sore, But I am old school, Worked as a vet assnt then trained Horses, Clean, new rig everytime, I turned to you guys tonight cuz I was like wtf....Id blame it on benzos droping blood pressure and cold, ant to mention dropping 15 pounds in 2 weeks I am prolly shrunk up....

A month ago Bain and me had no probs, I could ever hit my fucking hand and it pissed me off so I searched for ppl that understand.

Yeah what she said and if you dont find lifting weights all that appealing then I suggest you take up the drums. Playing them will help stimulate your veins to swell everywhere on your body as opposed lifting weights which will obviously be localized to the muscle your working. I quit shooting H years ago and occasionally, like once a month, will shoot amphetimines so all my shooter friends start drooling when they see my enormous healthy glowing blue veins.

I think its just cuz I lost so much muscle tone in my 2 week Ghandi beer benzo whiskey fast that a few pushups will get my blue back.

I keep getting like half my hit, then loose it....Ill pull out and the fucker will bleed so I know I was in.

Its fucked Mr Rolley on my wrist used to always work now its a dead issue, I pull out he bleeds...Old Faithfull Is so fucked, I hope she heals.

I end up trying for 20 mins to hit my hands I get like half 3/4 shot same shit.

Am I just outa practice, going thru the vein? Or did my early years fuck up all my good spots?

I must me going in at to hard an angle or some shit, Plus for the life of me now I cannot hit right handed.

The veins on my forearms used to bulge a few years back 0 prob then but after Katrina, then GF leaving...All I see is blue, and I hate to go to deep my luck id hit an artery. It must be the Ammount of benzos I am on and low blood pressure either that or I am going thru the vein...yeah practice makes perfect but also makes ya look like a pin cussion....

If I find myself with vials of Liquid Morphine IM'ing ima be pissed, whats next I brown my drugs, wtf Old Faithfull where did you go, If I could only shoot right handed I might be ok, I can here and there, Any Ideas? I don't advice doing this with a shot with blood mixed in it. A good clean shot is what I mean.

If you don't want to do this and again, I am only making a suggestion, have you tried getting your blood pressure up before you inject? Take a hot shower, go for a good brisk walk, do some weights! I have the same problem. The last few months of injecting, I went for the neck veins. I had nothing left and was wasting most of my shots. No matter what I did, nothing or half a shot or I looked like a pin cushion. It' awful, especially when those around you don't know your using(again!) Hard to explain those bruises.

I know it is real frustrating. Try increasing the amount of fluids each day. Just water. Just take as much as you can consume! It may help as it increases the volume in the blood, making it easier to hit(for some.)

Took a hot ass shower the other day, held a hotass rag onold faithfull and she came back, See when I was younger I was in great shape so I never needed a tourniquet, I am starting to think I am tying off to tight stopping arterial flow from building into the Veins...any one come up with a decent tourniquet design?

I took the elasticband out and old pair of sleep pants, I would almost bet now that I am thinking Vet Assistance wise I am tying to tight and stopping the blood flow...

I used to use a ruber band to keep the rolling fucker on your wrist from squirming years ago...
These days I cant hit that thing for fuckin life of me, I know its been hit cuz the fucker bleeds, but I get no draw, to far thru, Or roll and thru the side what ya think?

you better be careful there...using a filter needle or something and like they mentioned, fresh shot with no blood or you could cause a stroke....

IM for MS is okay, like they said make sure it's IM deep and not SQ....good clean site as well...it will last longer

IM valium is no good....it's either IV or rectal (sorry, that's just how medics give it to ppl having seizures if can't get a vein...or if it's a kid, rectal valium is used a lot... just use an IV cath, pulling out the needle part and leaving the latex cath to insert for drug administration)

Yep that's what she means but I agree with comaTOES on this one and would advise to proceed with caution to say the least.
Be very careful if u do decide to opt for this route to inject your gear.
I have seen it done but its not something I'd even consider doing to myself.
I think its different for Candy, after all she's an experienced nurse and therefore knows what she's doing.
Its more common (at least amongst the junkies I know) to use the big groin vein when the veins in your arms have been abused to death and no longer work. Again, I've never felt comfortable with the idea of using my groin and therefore despite my crap veins have opted not to go down this route. I doubt I ever will, but then again never's a long day so who knows?#

Maybe I should of not mentioned the use of the jugular vein. I don't want anyone to do anything that could cause harm. True, I have done it myself many times and to many patients when they had nothing else to hit.

Your best bet is peripheral veins in the arms and hands, but we do desperate things at desperate times and you should consider the least dangerous method.

Perhaps back in the day when I shot opiates when dope sick id try for the neck...but this weak ass Liquid Valium I would need a min of 70-80 MG do to tollerance issues, so screw that...funny the 29 G insulin syringes IM Nubain fine, I can feel the effects I can only imagine If I had access to the shit I did at my job before Katrina blew down my city.

I Train horses for a living now, But was an equine vet assistant for a while, I could IM myself with a 25 g 10 cc syringe and go as deep into the muscle as I wanted.

Simply to weak this IV Valium, I cant imagine getting 16ml of it into my ass one cc at a time with a cut off insulin syringe would take me a week, and I am not to keen on putting shit into my ass, plus I would assume you would have to be deep enough in there to stop A)leakage B)get to where there major Mucous membranes start...So that would leave me with an enema kit and breaking open 8 glass vials to probly feel nada,plus the factor of jamming something into my ass...no thanks,Maybe back in the day when dope sick if I couldnt hit Id have to do this but for a stupid Benzo that I have a Tollerance like Elvis to not worth it.

I f I plan on even feeling a Benzo, I better have not eaten and drank a shit load of grapefruit juice and start with like 10-15 mg of Xanax...I can 2 mg bars all day with little to no effect unless I am drinking pretty good....Thing is 3 weeks ago I quit booze so now I am stuck pretty much buzzless.

It got that way with Opiates,Just basically fighting back sickness, I went to jail a month ago was in there 3 weeks so a total detox from Benzos and I mean High High Doses of them I had no seizures but it wasnt to nice the first few days.
