fent absorbtion rate buccally

Anyone know how fast fent absorbs bucally out of a mylan. The reason I ask is I can't keep it in very long without swallowing, and I sure don't want to waste anymore than necessary. I was wondering if it compares to Actiq which I believe absorbs in about 15 minutes. Do you think it would help to chew on it for about a half hour, then pull it out and wait about 15 minutes before swallowing, then repeat? I try to chew for about 3-4 hours total. That is a long time to not swallow. Would the gellies be any different in this regard? I finally found a pharm locally that has those. I really don't want to start down the smoking path. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've only had the mylans for one month's prescription and I found the best way was to just put a piece (not the whole patch) in between my gum and cheek and let it sit there--occasionally moving it from one side of the mouth to the other and giving it a chew for a minute or so even 15-20 minutes or so. It was pretty effective from what I recall. The less you chew, the less saliva you will get, so the swallowing is not as much of a problem if you don't chew it too much.

So what has been your expereince so far--are you getting a buzz? and how have you been using them, bucally of just wearing them?

Buzz? Yes, sometimes more than others. I do wear them as normal, but sometimes chew on part of one when extra control is needed. I have them prescribed to change every 48 hrs, but usually make them last 72 so I have extra when I need more help.

I was posting about this, I had the watson before I said fuck it and put two (25s) in the cheeks waited half hour then chewed two to compare.Whatever my tolerance sucks Im still way disatisfied. Prob from smoking the watsons and I only did that twice with the 50s. I just really need pain relief I have a fuck left femoral artery that gives me so much damn pain. My doc said shell raise it on fri and to use the percs for breakthrough but I went through 100 in 4 days
