Heroin i.m. ?

Im 100 sure that there are several topics on this but I cant find them.

Could someone tell me, what exactly the disadvantages are of i.m. injection of heroin?

The ones that come to my mind are:

1. No bang

2. infections

Are there others, like does diamorph destroy tissue by itself or is it the particles, baceteria and so on?

no, it is not a stupid question at all, a lot of people dont know about the risks of IM injection. I would steer clear of it for the biggest reason of absceses. IM injection is safe with drugs that are intended for injecting into the muscle. But with H, you have so many impurities and junk in there, that you really dont know what your putting in the muscle. Even when cooked, H is dirty, it is safer and there is less risk of getting absceses if you just IV it instead. IV'ing is more of a rush also, I dont know why people SC or IM when they can just IV. Maybe cause their veins dont allow it.

Yah and IM'ing tar heroin is a big nono, regardless what anyone says, I have the long healed dents in my arms and legs to prove it
