New Pill - supposedly 1/2 Percocet and 1/2 Tylox?

Okay so yesterday I went to the streets to try and find some painkillers and I call one of my buddies up and they say that they know of where a pill is thats new and its supposed to be half percocet and half tylox? And automatically that had me thinking....for one tylox and percocet is the same thing: OXYCODONE, so how can a pill be HALF of each one? I am assuming (and thats if its even a REAL painkiller and not somebody trying to rip people off) that its just most likely a new oxycodone/apap pill or something?

Anybody heard of this so called NEW pill or know of any newly released oxycodone pills that these people could be talking about? :confused: I ABOUT got one just so I could bring it home and look it up on the internet or ask about it on here, BUT I didnt want to waste what little money I had on something that might not be a painkiller. I have no idea what color its supposed to be or nothing I never even got to see one, because I told my friend I didnt want none until I could find out for sure what they were....if I were smart I would have asked him if he knew what they looked like, I will ask next time I talk to him.

But yea any information or anything that somebody could give me would be greatly appreciated.....thanks so much! ;)

Like you pointed out, it makes no sense. Percs are oxy/apap tablets, and tylox are oxyapap caps.

Do you know the imprint on the pill? Sounds like a scam to me.

Edit: I guess I missed that you hadnt seen the pill. The only logical conclusion that could be made about a combo of the two would be an oxy/apap caplet. But I have not heard anything about one, and frankly, what would be the point?

Yeah, I remember when they started giving out tylox, and we hated'em, because percodans were easier to fix, cuz they had aspirin, which seperated better, while tylox were the same as percocets, and had the miserable crappy old tylenol in'em which only really sicko garbage dumps like me and my old lady would shoot up....

Remember, duck's an old fart (im just messin bro) and did all this silly shit back in the days before harm reduction. Shooting all that crap can seriously fuck you up. If you wanna bang it, buy dope, get dilaudid or oxy, or something easy. Hell, even MS Contin is safer, and its a real PITA. If its got apap in it, DON'T SHOOT THE SHIT!

Gosh I could imagine how harmful it is to you by shooting stuff like that, much less snorting it (thats how I do them). Yea, I know stupid me for sitting here snorting the shit up my nose knowing its not safe with all that APAP....but you know what I think? I think sometimes that snorting itself is almost as addictive as the drug. Just how people who shoot up get addicted to that 'poke' (or well alot of people I know that shoot up says thats what got them) its like people who snort get addicted to feeling that powder go up their nose? Dont know if I am making any sense or not lol.

OMG IV'ing Vodka are you serious?! I didnt even know that you could do such a thing! LOL. Man and I thought I knew about EVERYTHING haha, guess you learn something new everyday huh? But yea snorting something with APAP in doesnt taste bad at all, I actually LOOOOVE the taste of hydros and percs, and I know most of that taste is the tylenol. I know its not good for you on your nose and stuff to snort it but as far as the taste or it burning or anything they dont.

But yea take it from me (or atleast from my own personal experience and a few others' testimonies) snorting is just as addictive as the drug itself. I mean anything that is 'snortable' I will usually snort it, hell I have even snorted tramadols before when I got hard up and was withdrawing LOL.

And I even tried snorting Darvocets once but will NEVER EVER do that again! and word of advice to those who does snort stupid stuff like me lol DONT it aint worth the INTENSE burning inside your nose that you get for like an hour after you just done it. Needless to say I will never do that again.

steve-o glover once did a vodka iv on one of his dvd's. there was absolut in it. so yes you can do that.

i was an apap painkiller snorter too lol. its a mess. vicodin es are the worst, but i did em.

my best advice for you would be to get out while your ahead. and dont shoot b/c its a whole other addiction. people that get clean shoot up anything they can just cause of the needle addiction. the hose up the nose is an addiciton too.

There is a kinda new Oxycodone med out called Combunox. It is Oxycodone (5mg) and Ibuprofen (400mg). It's been around for a few years, My Ortho RX'd it to me for pain after my Elbow surgery. Actually works surprising well for pain considering the small amount of Oxycodone in it. I figure it was because of the Ibuprofen in it, well that or that fact that I also had Roxicodone 30mgs to take too. But seriously, the Ibuprofen makes a big difference. I currently take an 800mg IBU with my Roxicodone for a boost in pain relief. Always found that IBU is 100x better at relieving pain than APAP.

I should also mention that there is another Oxycodone/APAP combo medication called Magnacet. It contains 400mg of APAP and either 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, or 10mg of Oxycodone.

Considering that Percocet and Tylox are the same combo of meds, either someone doesn't know what they are talking about, they are trying to make something shitty sound better, or it is the medication I mentioned above. Tylox are casules that contain 5mg Oxycodone and 500mg APAP. Percocet are tablets that have either 2.5mg, 5mg, or 10mg of Oxycodone and either 325mg, 500mg, or 650mg of APAP.

I agree with the comment about Combunox. Of all the combo meds out there, the Combunox and Vicoprofen are by far the most effective IMO. If needed for pain, I would rather have a Combunox than a 7.5 perc, and rather have a Vicoprofen than a Norco 10.

Less narcotic, but the ibu really helps.

Roxi, I was under the impression tylox contained 4.5mg of oxycodone, not an even five? I'd have to check again though..

I know perco*dan*s had like 4.5mg oxycodone instead of 5mg, and tylox that we got were always identical to percocets--5 mg--percodans were still *much* preferred since they were cut w/aspirin and we could fix'em easier....but Liz Taylor got all hooked on'em and then the housewives wanting to be just like Liz started wanting them and then percodans got *really* hard to get...hardly ever see'em anymore...this was *way* before oxycontin was invented and hell, even hydrocodone you had to get tussendex cough syrup to enjoy...

Synack: It may be psychosomatic, but APAP, even in low doses, makes me feel weird. I think I just psych my self out to the point that my liver actually hurts, even with doses under 750mg. So that is why I would sacrifice narcotic to non-narcotic ratio.

Now if I could only have, say, 30 tabs, regardless of the strength, I would take the 10's. But assuming a total equivalent amount, I would take the ibuprofen combo's anyday. (Assuming I cant get pure, obviously)
