i can feel 2.5

I decided a while ago to start going off opiates because i had been on them too long. I had pretty much been off of what little i was on at the end (30mg codeine 2 times a day) a few weeks ago. Well i tried a pt the other day (weak cup) and my back was still hurting really bad. I went to doc. today adn got lortab, i took 2.5 (1/2 of 5.500) and i can feel it. Is it that lortab is made slightly differently then normal vicodin or just extremely low tollerance? I know its low tollerance because its only 2.5 mg of hydrocodone... but still...

didnt know they made 5/500 lortab...the ones i have gotten are the blue 10/500

I think the problem, or lack theirof is that the hydro isn't split 50/50. Infact I don't think its ever possible to get an even ratio, score or not. Ive heard 70/30. So, that maybe why. You may not catch a buzz on the second half.

In my opinion tho, its all or none. COMMENCE CARPET BOMBING!

I dont know man i think at a time in my life before the raging habits. I dont think i ever had done just one 2.5,5 or10millagram lortab. I would have to start out with at least 30millagrams thats 3 10 millagramspills come on now they are not that strong. To each is own. peace

yes it is split 50/50. I had this talk with my pharmacist a while back and have experimented with it.

Sounds like a very low tolerence to me. My doctor always wrote the scripts out for Lortab 5/500 or 7.5/500. Lortab has some of the same ratios as vicodin so it's really up to the doctor as what to write. Especially if you fill generic, they'll say 5/500 hydrocodone/apap just as if you had recieved a script for vicodin 5/500.

really? wow, i guess i couldve heard wrong. i always wondered why they would score the pill and not do you any good to split it in half if one wanted. hmm
