I have been searching online for literally hours trying to ID a pill I have, but to no avail.

I found a small, round green pill that is blank on one side and on the other it has "66" over "44".

Supposedly it's some sort of sleeping pill, but I am stumped.

Could someone help me?

Or should I take it to a pharmacy?

I'm kind of wary about doing that, however. What if it's something REALLY good, but the pharmacist takes it from me because I'm not prescribed it?

Any help would be great.

You can also just call a pharmacy. They have pill ID databases that may be better than the ones available online. I think people also call poison control for pill ID.

However, somebody identified it as 25 mg amitriptyline here: hxxp://www.drugs.com/forum/pill-identification/small-green-pill-66-above-44-a-21872.html. First Google result for "66 44 pill" ;)

Looking for confirmation, I found this: hxxp://www.pharmer.org/node/4774. Pic at that link (it's actually GG 44).
