Relax, take a deep breath, and go get a wash cloth... run it under warm (not hot) water. Then hold it to the area where you missed. That's a large shot, it may be there for a while, but don't panic unless things start getting weird on your arm. Warm compress will help is dissolve maybe even let you catch more of a buzz...

Well you got some good advice. The fluid you injected just made it's way into the surrounding tissues. Almost like getting a subcutaneous injection. I would go with the warm compresses, but you may need more than just running it under warm water. If you have a microwave, take a small towel and wet it, put in the microwave for 1min and 30sec. then put in a plastic zip bag and wrap in towel. Leave on for about 10-15 mins. Do this 3 times a day. It is what we would do in the hospital for fluid that has infiltrated into the tissue under the skin. Just watch the area and if it should remain tender and change color, you may want to see a doc. But that should not happen. It may feel tender and swollen for a few days and even up to a few weeks. I have done the same thing and have had swelling that has lasted a few weeks. Do the heat pad for as long as the swelling continues.
It can even more painful in the area of a joint! You should be OK!

Keep a close watch on it as your injecting MScontin's just about the worst pill to inject. Hopefully there wont be a particle that got thru the filtration and will lodge in your tissue creating an infection and forming an abcess. If it is still there and the pain starts to increase in the next couple days please seek medical attention.
What did you use to prep the pill? Cotton ball? or a .8 micron filter? Please be safe injecting those pills as they are horrible for your body even under ideal conditions .8 filter there is so many particles left. It might not seem like a big deal now, or even in two months but one day who knows those wax, or undisolved microscopic fillers might get lodged in a bloodstream after sitting months in your body it builds up a mass around it once it get large enough and the blood clot/embolism clogs a artery, or gets caught in your brain or heart and you dont want that to happen as a stroke or heart attack are common.
Its going to be interesting in 5-10 yrs all the MScontin junkies and other pills shooters that dont prep well enough what will happen. Probably a similar situation as to all the people loosing limbs over seas from shooting the all the temazepam gel pills. The dont make pills like they used to the pills these days are specifically designed to prevent injection, not like in the 60's and 70's when you didnt even here of a wax based matrix or polymer based time release.
Be safe, shoot safe, invest in some good filters if you make a habit of injecting pills certainly MScontins the worst of them all IMO.
