If I was to take a whiz quiz, could they tell the difference between me taking Fentanyl, Oxycodone, or Morphine? Or, would I just test positive for opiates? How accurate are they?

theres different kinds dude, if youre at a hospital, they can tell exactly what opiates youve been taking (i get pm tests once a month, they have to verify 4 dif chemicals are always there and nothing more).

ive had some really primitive tests at dif places, like a prison work release place, where are you getting yours done?

Depends on the type of test they do, but yes they can test for specific substances.

oh yeah, my prn also said they can now detect coke metabolites or something for alot longer than they used to be able to (a week+ vs. 24 hours), to anyone that may concern.

I just took a standard NIDA-5 at my work as part of random testing. I did lots of research after I got home and there was conflicting information about whether or not I would fail the opiates scan because of my oxy use. I believe it specifically tests for morphine & heroin. Some said i would fail, others said not unless they do a specific test for certain commonly abused prescriptions. I use oxycodone daily and decided that since the tester did not ask if I am on any type of medication, then they do not test for more substances than the STANDARD list of the NIDA-5. My assumption was correct.

You say you took it AT you work, so I'm assuming it's a kind that just requires a swab of the mouth, if so - oxycodone will not show up on it..

at least, it didn't on mine, and I was on 60mg a day at the time.
