Oxycontin as a forum header...

Just curious as to why this forum is titled Oxycontin instead of Oxycodone ? All the other sub forums in Pharms are appropriately titled i.e. Its the Fent forum not the Duragesic forum. I've seen more than once some newbs on this forum get confused thinking there is a difference between Roxicet, Oxycodone, Percocet and Oxycontin when they are all the same drug. Maybe the fact that its not called the Oxycodone Forum exacerbates that misconception ???

Yeah, WC's right, the admins are being paid off by purdue (i think its purdue)? to call it oxycontin.

Purdue just stopped paying us the other day, hence the name change.

I actually, I was going to change it a long time ago, but I got sidetracked (imagine that) and the name change fell by the wayside.
