I'm curious as to whether or not anybody's tried this. Supposedly, DL Phenylalanine is capable of slowing breakdown of endorphins, which leads me to think that there may be some effect if combined with opiates.

Perhaps you'd be able to get more out of a smaller dose, or at the very least make said dose last a little longer. Anybody wanna chime in?

I just bought a bottle of 90 500mg. I guess it takes 3 weeks to "Load" up. I'm just started my second week, although I messed up dosing on my first week, but plan on doubling up this week.

closest thing I've tried is drinking a shit load of diet drinks marked CONTAINS PHENLYALANINE. not sure if it's both or one isomer and which it is but I don't remember anything remarkable.

Ok, I think this shit is working. I've been taking 2000mg a day for about 2.5 weeks now and I notice it takes less norco for me to feel something. About two weeks ago I took me 3-4 Norcos (10/325) for me to catch a buzz.
I went to the movies last Sunday and took 3 of them and was actually Nauseous. So since then I've been tapering down, I took 2.5 and half and still caught a good buzz, then 2 then yesterday I took 1.5 and was actually able to feel a buzz!
Today, I'm not going to take any DLPA before my dose and take 1.5 Norcos and see how I Feel. I missed my morning dose of DLPA, so we'll see how my body is affected and see if I still get a buzz.

Interesting. Perhaps I'll try this. A plugging cocktail comes to mind...lol.

So I ran out of DLPA. My last does was wednesday.
I didn't take any hydro on Thursday and Wendesday I took only 2.
Friday night I took a tagament about an hour 30 minutes before dropping my 1 and half hydros and man, I sure did feel it and for a long time too. I ran out of DLPA but ordered some more. Hopefully this will make my hydro stash last longer.
