This opioid, hydromorphinol, which could also be called dihydrooxymorphine, would probably be awesome.

I'm guessing based on anecdotal structure - subjective properties relationships that we opiophiles have established some consensus on that this opioid would be awesome. It's liable to have a rush close to as good if not equally as good as hydromorphone and oxymorphone, but with more legs (duration), because it lacks the carbonyl group at 6 position. If this opioid was oxidized at the 6 position it would be oxymorphone.

I love just looking at the molecules of different opiates on Wiki and imagine the slight differences in how they feel. Wouldn't mind trying out some Diacetyldihydromorphine or some desomorphine. Neat stuff out there. I wish some good chemists could get together, produce and stockpile every opioid out there and try them all out. Like a little chemist/opiate lover cult.

there are some great rare opioids out there but the key is finding the ones that don't share a structural relationship to the ones that are already controlled. there are some out there.

Rather than start a thread for it, since we're talkng about obscure opiates:

I've always wanted to try pantopon.. always thought it would be the perfect "just chipping" drug. One of the few "basic" opiates that have been around forever that I've never had. Anyone ever get their mitts on it? It's basically opium with all the plant matter removed, processed into a hydrochloride salt. I believe by weight the way they process it, it's considered equal in strength to morphine, i e 30mg pantopon should equal a half grain of ms.. though I may be wrong.

Pantopon is slightly stronger because of the other alkaloids. I've shot pure filtered opium and raw morphine and it's not bad. Never got the pins and needles like typical morphine from it and for whatever reason my eyes don't get pinned from it, they get glassy and medium dilated. Found the raw morphine high lasts a little less than the pharmaceutical stuff, 3 hours right on the dot.
