Fentanyl help

I was wondering, since i got my hands on a 25mcg/h patch if im "tolerant" enough. I take oxy a lot, and 20mg oxycodone does me good for a few hours so I was wondering if this patch would be too much for me. Any help will be appreciated. Also, I put the patch on and then changed my mind and stuck it back to the thing it came on after like 3 hours. Will it be good tomorow?

When you take them off like that the hopes of it EVER sitcking again is damn near impossible. In this case I find electrical tape to be the way. Also since you did start wearing it it will dry out if you do not use it soon. If you want it to work faster put it on your hand other wise even with a heating pad it takes about 5 hours to start feeling anything. You should be ok with the dose if you feel sick take some dramamine. Personally I just suck the gel out of the patch. Each to his own.

Thanks for the help, didnt know it would dry out so i stuck it back on with the help of some scotch tape. I suppose if it takes 15-20 hours to work ill be feeling it tomorow in the am. I hope i dont od in my sleep...heh, i doubt it tho.

Im mostly worried about overdoing it and not waking up. My tolerance so far equates to maybe 30-40mg oxycodone. I have no idea how this patch will affect me. Has me somewhat worried.

You wont have any problems with putting that patch on. At least i dont . Especially if you are currantly taking percocet. I mean you should'nt have any problems. Back about 7 years ago before life on methadone. I used to take a 100 mcg. patch and scrape all off the gell out of it and pack it all in a 1cc syringe and then look out man. I dont recomend it unless you have someone else around you just in case. Remember fentanyl will make you stop breathing. Respitory depression. Remember be carefull. Peace.

at one point when i had a very serious oc addiction (240mgs two or three times a day at least), there was a point when i was wearing 4 of the duragesic 100's and really not even getting a fix... but at first when i would wear even a 50 i would feel great for a couple days...

Well, I've had it on for like 30+ hours now and still no noticable effects. Slight tiredness and I'm fending of wd's (ie; no shits or gas or pain/restlessness). So I suppose I'm lucky but I was expecting to be feeling damn good by now. I think if it doesnt get better by tonight I'll cut it open and eat some maybe...or not, I dunno. I'm still rather shocked at my tolerance at this point. I would have put money on me being wasted all day.

Actualy i think its Hydrocodone 25 mg is = to 2.5 mg of fentanyl. Doesnt it convert like codeine to morphine 1-10%?

no the patch is giving you a steady supply of 25 micrograms over three days, but 25 micrograms is only equal to 2.5 MILLIgrams of hydrocodone (i think or im pretty sure... well maybe .... accually i could be wrong... but i dont think i am.... shit i dunno...)

when I used these fent. patches I would cut off half of the backing, and then tape the loose end down. this way I only exposed half the suface area at once. I am not sure if my thinking is right with the actual mechanics of the patch, but I think this will help control the movement of the drug into the body. I also used a heating pad at times, which makes for a comfortable sit. couldnt help but thinking that getting addicted to being plugged into the wall is going to be a big hassle.

had some friggin itchy sore spots from those patches, cant tell if it was just a rubbin action of the edges, or an interaction with my skin and some chemical.

The 25mcg duragesic patches are the weakest you can get. You arent going to feel much with that weak-ass patch. I would cut it open and smoke the shit inside just like you would with tar. As for wearing it, fuck it, unless you go the heating pad route.

I had a small tolerance way back when I first started using and I used the 75mcg patch, and wasnt impressed at all. I wish I knew about smoking the gel inside back then, Ive heard its one of the best ways to use it. Either that or freeze the fucker, then just pull the frozen gell out and suck on it, hmmmmm frozen-duragesic-gel-lollypop.

Smoking it is a waste of time. You might get something but it's such a short high it's pointless. The only way that really works is to put it into a nasal inhaler with some hot water, shake it alot and squirt it up your nose. That way it's hard to over do it since your only getting a bit at a time, not like putting the whole thing in your mouth :(.

I would HIGHLY recommend smoking your fent gel, it's simply the only way to get any recreational effects from it unless you shoot(which can be pretty dangerous here)! and the 2.5mg fent patches(25mcg/hr) is equiv to like 160-214mg of Oxycodone in analgesic effect, and when smoked it's like 5x the euphoria and one hella rush(if you get it right, and if u don't get the badass euphoric rush, you DID do something wrong/not enough)!
OK, seeing as you're smoking pieces as big as sunflower seeds and not getting effects, you're obvisouly doing something wrong man! You could be not burning it enough? Someone holds the lighter to the foil pretty much until it's all vapd up and removes flame like right before the 'hit' is finished off... also you could be not even inhaling the vapors altogether lol. Hey, it's happened to ppl before...

Try making the 'bowl' shape around your tube to ensure u get all vapors, and only put one puff into the foil each hit. Take it all at once. Inhaling hard too, and keep inhaling until the foil cools down enough to touch without being burnt; ensuring u inhaled all the vapors.

Also like I said in above quote hold in hits as long as you can, the longer the better!
or u could even have more of a tolerance than u think... just keep taking hits until u feel it, as if you're doing it right you WILL feel it, and u will feel it good :p

Theres this other dude from another site I helped, as he was also saying he wasn't feeling shit from smoking it. His problem was he 'couldn't see any smoke'. You will NOT see the vapors from fent, even if u smoke half the patch at once I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't see any smoke or vapors! remember these are micro gram doses(unless u very tolerant :P).

I would not eat the gel, but using the gel sublingually(transmuscal?) is the only way to go if you want an oral route of administration! Swallowing fentanyl is pretty damn pointless unless you do a HUGE amount! The fent pretty much just passes through your system without being absorbed to sum it up, go google it and find out exactly how fent works and shit when swallowed if you want to know EXACTLY why swallowing fentanyl is crap. WHy ya think they onl have transdermal and transmuscal(sublingual) forms of Fentnayl and no oral tablets? There is now a sublingual tablet, but no 'pills' 'cause it's pointless and waistfull unless you wann take a BUTT LOAD! So if you want to use an oral route of administration for fentnayl, hold the gel under your tongue for about 7min... kicks in pretty fast and strong, it's not exactly recreational to me though, but it's very VERY good for pain, it's more sedating than euphoric, I perosnally don't even call any fentnayl used as intended(or oral or transdermal) recreational. Cause I personally don't like the 'nod' part of the opi high, I like the euphoric pure blissful high that is... well like sailing through a warm breeze just happy as fuck
and not a care in the world. I actually loose all that blissfulness when I get to the 'nod' part, and just feels like I took a bottle of Tranqs, but if you like the sedating 'nod' part, this would work very well!

I think it takes 13 hours to kick in or some crazy shit. So put it on like a day before you wanna get high or whatever. It delivers 25 micrograms every hour which isnt that much. But for somemone who isnt that tolerant it could be too much, but probably not.

Yeap, if you wear the patch it will take AT LEAST 10hrs to kick in I guarantee it, taking you have the 2.5mcg/hr(2.5mg total) patches anyway. Back when I was first put on the patches and tried wearing them(just for 2weeks till i discovered wearing them is worthless for my pain and everything) they took till the end of the 2nd day before I felt SHIT from them! Hell they didn't even start to ease WDs until the evening of day two! They won't hit the 'mean' effect until day 14-15! Its gotta build up in your system. And using a DRY wash cloth rub a lil area on your chest, make the skin VERY rouch, get it as rough as humanly possible, and if theres a lot of hair on the chosen area shave that shit! This will aid in absorption A LOT! Also after that you can put heating pads and such on it, or run warm water over the patch for a while... or use some steamy towels. The best area I found was my chest, right above ma sexay man nipples.. but fuck all that, smoke dat shit :cool:

yah the patch has 2.5 mgs of fentanyl in it total. but that is a high amount to eat at once. i have eaten whole 100s but i was doing 2 160's at a time them like 2 years ago. 2.5 mgs of fentanyl is way stronger than 25 mgs of hydrocodone though guys. be careful with it, you could try one of the conversion sites, but i think 100 micrograms is equal to 30 mgs of oc, so way stronger than 25 mg hydro. i could be wtong on the conversion part but i know its strong

I would also recommend smoking the gel. When I was first getting fent patches I got the 50 mcg ones and I had about the same tolerence as you and wearing the patch didn't do much for me but smoking it is great.

Fent is pretty powerful and you need to be careful. One time I was sick and had just got a patch and decided to do a huge hit. It knocked me out and I woke up with a pretty nasty bump on my head. Just do little hits and work your way up, you'll be fine.
