How long ago did these things go out of production? My guy sold me 4 the other day, i thought they were perdue at first untill i saw that old ABG stamp on one side! Thought it was kind of weird that these things would still be around, the only thing i've seen for about a year are tevas or perdue ocs. Especially for him.

dunno much bout the manufacturers anymore but you could always check the companies site?
I don't know either.... I haven't seen them in a while but IMO they are just as good as Purdue's and Better than those godforsaken Teva's.

Stop date for production for generics was June 14 2007, with the exception of teva as everyone knows. I would say the ABG'S of any other generic would still retain it's original strength until about September as long as they were picked up July 07 or later.
The reason the ABG'S were good was because Purdue actually made the pills for Watson. Watson marketed the pills on their own, but production was in Purdue's plant. Same exact pill, just stamped ABG which stands for authorized brand generic. Hope that helps to clarify things a bit.

Watson stopped production of the ABGs last March. Endo stopped production at the end of Dec 2006, Impax in June of 2007 and Teva just stopped in Jan. of this year. It is possible that a few are still around. My uncle was getting ABGs from his mom and pop pharmacy until about November whne they switched to Teva.

WHEN will all those shitty TEVAS be GONE????
Then what will be available...no generic? That's pretty costly. Perdue makes millions on that pill alone!
So happy to see the TEVAS being discontinued though. I hope they don't try to make a new generic like TEVA.
I liked the ABG too...just like the real deal!
