In Hartford, CT there has been a significant increase in OD---ER visits due do a "bad" batch of heroin that is going around the South side. I think one has died so far....

There is an article about it online, very brief....just basically what i wrote.

Were they busted right there in the Hartford area? Wondering if any of this made it anywhere else.

A guy at my 'done clinic just recently complained to me that he was getting popped not only for his usual dirty opi drop, but now also for benzos, and according to him, he hasn't used benzos in months. He only uses H so I thought that was probably the culprit unless he has been taking some OTC drug with a false positive possibility.

Oh man.... I live in CT and I'm not going to tell you how far from Hartford for privacy reasons. Let's say I'm very familiar with it and have been most of my life. I mean I've been to all of other major cities too. The north end, unless you have a dark complexion, can be scary. The south side of town is alright. I've had several friends that have lived there either presently or at one point. That's good info. to know.

I wish I could say a little more but again, privacy. Let's just be clear though, I have nothing to do with this stuff or knowledge who is involved but if I use my imagination I might have a few ideas; let's just leave it at that.

Oh yeah and for those not familiar with the North East U.S. Hartford's maybe 45 minutes from Springfield Mass, which IMO is a drug mecca itself.

Well, hope for the best prepare for the worst. Junkies in Hartford and surrounding communities best be careful; again, I'll just leave it at that.

just lookin back on this, hartford is the place i go to. period, i live close to springfield and holyoke ma..even closer but i still find my self in the beat. its not scary at all going to the north end even as a white boy, they just wanna serve you and have you come back 90% of the time. but im not going back out anytime soon, its delivery not dijorino :D

i got fam out in CT i was visiting last summer, i copped a lil closer to NY in bridgeport.... wasnt hard just walked around until i saw empty stamp/ and mini ziplocks on the ground and started asking around, was served and back on the train to norwalk within 30mintues. the gear was shit tho, and next week i was out in ny and scored some 'liberty' stamps, that still sucked. im from minnesota and the tar out here is way better than the powder i got on the east coast. but i got another family reunion coming up in three weeks maybe this time ill try hartford when im in CT, and instead of scoring in manhatten check out the bronx ... maybe go on a tour of fordham ;)

xanax can be shot... i know its not smarat, and is alcohol soluble..... but putting a xanax in water, heating it and firing it... works. i dont know how to say it other than that, ive done it. and no p lacebo it must be water and alcohol soluble.... i dunno its strange.

^^Seriously? That's why I said the bit about junkies using alcohol. I know that xanax is not readily water soluble, period. Perhaps you could dissolve a very small amount of xanax into h2o, but I highly doubt it would be any more that a threshold dose.
