Anyone use Subs as an excuse not to talk to your significant other? Sometimes I am not even taking it, and the ol' lady starts talking. I just point to my mouth, shake my head and say 'MM MM.' Am I worse than Hitler?

This is great cause it's not really that hard to talk with one in your mouth to begin with let alone when your lieing about having one in your mouth.
Your not alone. I do this with my mother.
Ill be walking out of the house going to work and she'll try to stop me to bitch about how I didnt make that call to the insurance company or to get my car inspected and Ill just do the MM MM then tap my wrist as if Im late for work and in a rush.
Are we worse than hitler?

Hmm lol, this reminds me(I feel kind of bad about it in a way), the way I pretend I'm sucking on a sub, when in fact I really am not. Those are the times when I've scored another stash of pills and have to save up a stash of subs at the same time for coming off the pills, and at the same time while my family member gives them to me daily to take, while they dont know I just swallowed 7 hydro's, then I sometimes think, oh shit what if they suddenly one day decide to make me sit in front of them and suck on that sub for real while I have a full 7 hydro in me. I guess if that happens it will be the day I'll have to say I'm sorry but I've relapsed again. Seeing as who I live with doesn't understand opiates, they just put out my daily dose for me to take and dont sit and watch me do it. But on the other hand I"m lucky who I live with is compassionate and understanding that I can't help what I am, but they have pretty much figured it out now, when I'm binging on pills they know the same day, I just can't hide them pupils and that look when I"m buzzin or when I suddenly am full of energy and getting stuff done and all in a good mood.

LOL, Yep I have done this before also. It is a great way to get out of conversations. The only bad part is that you still have to sit there and listen...then you can't say anything back. :o

the jig is up. The ol' lady found out I was insufflating a coupla weeks ago, and when she asked me how long I almost told her months. Whoa, that woulda been dumb since I been pulling this trick up until recently. I just said I didn't remember. Glad to know there are more little hitlers in the world besides yours truly. We should have a picnic.

I like to use the nausea excuse. You ever notice sometimes that you get abit sick to your stomach trying to focus or hold conversation when it's coming on. I like the excuse " It makes me feel nauseaus when I try and talk and focus, I need to relax that's all." this one lasts longer than it takes to melt.

You mean that I am not the only one who does this to my girlfriend. I use the "Can't talk, have sub in my mouyh" routine daily. Usually it just comes out as mmmm mmmhmmhgm, then i try to gt aut of her verbal range. The worst is when I get cornered and bitched at while taking subs b/c i can say nothing back i have to just sit and pretend to listen.

yep, i definitely find myself doing this. I just point to my mouth and mouth the word "meds" and i don't have to answer him...of course this means he just talks and talks more, but I don't really have to pay attention:D

I give anyone credit for taking suboxone, I take them very rarely and the taste makes me want to puke
