salvia nemorosa...

a mu active salvia species recently discovered to have possible psychoactive effect.

I have been growing this plant for a few years.
preliminary research via bioassay didnt impress me greatly.
there are people that swear this plant is active, but I notice that most of these people were also using opiates or amphetamines on a daily basis, so their reactions could be most likely augmented by the other drugs.

recently I found some nice plants for sale at my local co-op. I found the number for the local nursery that grows the plants year round.
they do this to provide plants that are already cold hardy.
this means that they trim the plants back in the fall.
I called the nursery, and offered to buy this trim material at the end of the summer.
apparently they have almost 2 acres of the plants growing this year.
if I could get ahold of pounds and pounds of the material, then I could probably talk a freind into doing some extraction/isolations on the plant material.

nemorone is one constituent of this salvia spec., I dont know if nemorone is the active compound or not, but a chinese chemical company does sell nemorone for research purposes.

I consumed about 20 grams of the flowers/leaves/stems/roots of this plant, and didnt really notice anything.
much more testing is needed though, before I am going to cast any doubts.

the possibilitys of finding new opiates/opioids in nature are phenom.

Awesome I just wasn't sure if it was cool to have this disscussion here or not.
I have NO opi tolerance now, I am on prescribed clonazepam daily, and interferon, etc. But, basicly I should should be able to tell pretty well how active it is. Atleast, better than Jacky or zombies, even though Interferon is a fucking nightmare trip, any real releif from the monotony of the shit is a blessing.
Obviously, I was interested in the original info, especially going through what is alot like low dose extended treatment chemo, and having less than no money.
Here's a story; found the info about said S.N. called local nursery and asked them to deliver. :D
They, didn't so I call homeboy who be stayin right next to the nursery and said pick some of them up on your way home but hurry they close at 12:00 it was like 11:00. Homeboy saw a pic of the species and says "That shizzle iz alrizzle in muh back yizzle!" He was over with like 10? spires (very short/young) shortly. Tried a few flowers inhaled, was not impressed at all. Made a crude water extract small yeild less than half a g of tarry shit, inhaled and was still not impressed. But I am a sally D hardhead extreme hardhead, and there was that stupid weird uh oh whats next sallyD feeling for a moment and I beleive either potentiation of the Kpin or sedation in its own right. After further examining the material and transplanting it have no clue what species it is, either way it is still very small and worthless (not much smell).
Then I am all of a sudden walking in the woods and smell something real strong and minty. Well, behind me is a huge patch of unknown cat piss? minty? smelling plant. So I quid a handful of the fragrant material.
"Wow that don't taste minty that tastes strong and bitter?" So I start thinking real fast: "spit it out, or no don't, chew and swallow, no,no, you don't wanna go out like that." Well, the taste/feeling? scared me enough that it wasn't swalloed ;) About the second I spit it out a freight train came rolling down the tracks, and damn if I wasn't a little scared about this whole experience. Kinda like C beez? The train passed and for a few minutes after I kept asking my buddy who had only just tasted a small leaf did you feel that? I felt very strange/good. He said he didn't catch anything but the taste. Chewed a few more small leaves but was wary of doing that big a quid as the first time. This plant had no flowers only foliage.
Next, we was magically transported to a small botanical garden with religous caretakers. The plants here are labeled and whats an addict see? The exact? same plant eaten on the railroad tracks in two seperately labeled varieties along with labeled nemmy, and other goodies, apple mint, basil etc. Everything seems to correspond to what the zombie has been sayin.
Unfortunately, the flowering version of this plant is very new young and small and in a religous setting so could only make off with a handful and more importantly names. The handful of flowers provided only a few small packs of the pipe and the most wonderful tasting smoke I have tasted besides maybe one other thing, or two. No MJ generally tastes like ass compared with this. The taste is incredible, and kinda makes your mouth feel strange. This plant as soon as I have enough may not even need an extraction.
Back to the nemmy. All freaking over in all varieties. In less than a mile, more than I could see myself easily collecting sticks out like a sore thumb/spire of which I willy nilly grab handfuls of as riding by.
The nice flowers by themselves two small pipes, and some quidding had me pleasant happily awake later than usual in a state of complete not caring, and this was only combined with a reduced dose of Kpin, which probably would have had me in a shitty mood by itself, if not W/D. Also took some ashwagandha, ginger, chocolate, tagament, grapefruit, GABA, Redcloverextract and other lame supplements which I have been taking daily for awhile.
When I finally decided to sleep it was some of the best sleep I feel I have had recently, and thats saying something. Benzo/interferon sleep is bullshit.
Woke up feeling more relaxed than usual. Normally, I am pretty hateful in the morning. I also woke quite a bit later than normal. This is good stuff and it is growing all around me. Better yet frozen in the freeze. :D
Tried to make RT with collected "nem" spires lastnight but dumped it because it was taking to long to dry, wasn't sure how much heat would destroy and really I'm pretty content with the flowers right now. I beleive you may be able to reduce it down much faster with more heat but you would have to keep an eye on it. I am supposed to have gratom in the mail. Maybe will have smokable RT ready by the time it gets here, the synergy is supposedly immaculate.
The real deal CM plant has only gotten bigger since I last visited it and will visit again very soon. The non ornamental is what was by the tracks, and in the garden. Though, the little one that is where the promise is.
However, average joe will probably get results with "nem" RT smoked even if they are a sally hardhead. Whatever is good in there is I think very, very, very water soluable. The tallest nem variety I've found seems to be the most potent. The small Mayevenings found so far aint much. Go on, smell, and taste.

On a may night, ashwagandha, fresh ginger, tea, kratom (10g's?), redclover tincture, white GF juice, passion flower, and normal daily dose of pins. On empty stomache. Very dissappointed so far. Alot of money on the kratom.

What has been eaten/smoked and am pretty sure is nemmy is not seeming to have as much as hyped as far as potentiation. Maybe it just needs to be the RT or maybe I got lame kratom, or nemmy. Maybe the GF juice is just slowing it all down and i'll be tore up later? Doubtful.
Probably quid/eaten like an oz of these purple flowers and foliage today.
Haven't had any kratom for a real long time and this experience so far is just reinforcing that it's not worth the dollars.... Unless kicking. Gonna try some GABA, and more kratom. Tomorrow will try mintkitty, and another mint instead of or with nem's.

What I can say is that I accomplished a hell of alot today, and maybe this combo is great for an active day which may otherwise have been spent inside reading, and feeling sorry for myself. What unfortunately can't be said is that I am nodding like a god for pennies. Great combo just not potentiating kratom enough to make it financially viable.

Any suggestions?

My goal would be to get atleast two full on experiences from half oz of standard kratom..... itchy, noddy experiences. My experience today so far has been a little itch, and better than average motivation.

Could tagament eaten yesterday still be having an effect? Would it be a good idea now?

Update: spoke with a shaman from russia in a garden today. This was after waking from extremely nice sleep, after staying up all night feeling a little nausea, an opiate like nausea? The shaman was very kind although we beleive he may have made us slightly forgetful, and confused, intoxicated? The garden we spoke in was filled with all manner of beautiful plants of which one could peruse and sample at will. One of the plants in the garden had been mysterioiusly relabled since last visited. Was somewhat disappointed with the updated identification if it is in fact acurate. Only because it is one of the more developed spirits in this consortium, and losing 1 letter out of the 7 in it's original name seems to make it less useful, to us?
Brought home some samples, the smoke of one which has already been spoken of seems to be stimulating in that it keeps you awake, however as soon as you are ready to dream it is ready to aid you. Maybe alot of the kratom yesterday was wasted making tea? toss N wash from here out. After the journey through that garden feelin pretty good, and am going to have another small scoop of gratom. Hopefully this oz of thom will take me further than it normal would so far it seems to be. Getting to buzzed for valuable posting? Ever tried apple mint? Oh, yeah left out the redclover tincture, this time to much going on in there. Also no Ashwagandha think this maybe limits things. When things are more solidified as far as what exactly is going on the details will be simplified, and shared. Thanks for letting me share.
