I have discovered a nice little combination. I got hold of a bunch of 75mg immediate release generic wellbutrin tablets (bupropion HCl). The wife was prescribed it and got a scrip for 60 tablets, to take twice a day. After she took two of them, she didn't want to continue with them because they made her grind her teeth and clench her jaw. She is sensitive to stimulants. Well, I said, "yeah, you prolly shouldn't take 'em" and I pretended to flush them down the toilet (even left a few in the bottom of the bowl so it looked like they got flushed). Ain't I a scumbag? Anyways, so I got about 55 tablets of them, and I tried taking them orally at first, 2 tablets (150mg) on an empty stomach, WITH coffee - nothin' - 3 tablets, 4 tablets, just made me SLEEPY! and I though the shit was like a really mild amphetamine-type drug.

Well, in the past, I remember snorting some wellbutrin XL tablets (very nasty, though - the immediate release tablets are the way to go if you're gonna do this..), and getting a decent stim. buzz, so I figured what the hell.

I was pleasantly surprised. A couple of small bumps, only like 1/3 to 1/2 of a 75mg tablet, provides a NICE stimulant effect. Mildly euphoric. AND, it makes your nose go numb, jus' like Llello.

The come-down is really really nice too. It has none of the "crash" associated with heavier stimulants like amphetamine or ritalin or coke. But, I was using bupe to come down on, so maybe that's why it was so nice.

bupropion is a phenethylamine related to cathinone. it has weak stimulant properties. it can also cause seizures in high doses. read this:
"In clinical practise, bupropion has been shown that the dose required for significant abuse would cause seizures in most patients"

Yeah, I read that stuff too, and it's not exactly accurate, like so much of the drug literature out there. I think what they're referring to is the ORAL dosage needed to induce a stimulant/euphoric effect. Up the nose, though, only like 30mg is required. That is nowhere near the approx. 400-500mg orally to reach the threshhold where seizures become a real possiblity.

That's why I wouldn't take more than 300mg (orally) in a pop - even though the literature warns against any single oral dosage of more than 150mg - the max PER DAY is like 400mg. I have had seizures on five different occasions (I think five) and it's NOT FUN! I was taking ultram, and I was fine one minute and the next, I lying on the floor asking the paramedics, "what happened?" Fuck.

I really can't believe it's not a controlled substance. I wonder, could any of our readers from other countries (in Europe or Australia or UK) tell us if bupropion is a controlled substance there? I am surprised it's not C-IV or something here in the USA. I have abused phentermine, a C-IV stimulant and bupropion is better in my opinion.

If named as a cathinone derivative, it would be 3-chloro-N-(t-butyl)-cathinone. But all the chem. literature names it as a propiophene derivative.

Zoop, just wanted to let you know there are some posts on erowid about buprion and apparently it can cause hallucinations... not the good kind, but the "shit i'm gonna die" kind. Just wanted to give you a heads up. I know you are aware of what you are doing, so hopefully you don't take this the wrong way.

Anyway as to your wondering why it isn't controlled, the main reason as far as I can tell is that it does cause seizures and hallucinations. But it really isn't 'addictive' in my experience because it didn't cause euphoria. Having said that, it was great in small (regular) doses for the day after a pathetically large coke binge... kinda took the edge off.

By the way, I was on buprion for a while, and really liked the stuff. I thought it was very helpful for the blues, and didn't affect my weight or libido... no real invasive side effects.

Oh, yeah, I read dem reports on erowid. It was some 14 or 15 year old kids who snorted a whole shitload at one time, I think.

Dat bein' sed, I didn't hallucinate and I definitely didnt' have a seizure. It was a really really nice little deal there for a few days (all out now). I had absolutely no craving for more, unlike when I do amphetamine or ritalin or coke, and it DEFINITELY got me wired, like a good wired. The most I did was to snort a whole 75mg at one time (it burns a little) but man, I swear, it gets you wired like speed, but there's no depressing come-down. I heard that fluoro-amphetamine (4-fluoro, I think) has a nice come-down too. My theory was that since bupropion is a halogenated phenethylamine too, then maybe the nice come-down has something to do with it being halogenated (the chlorine atom, I mean). Perhaps the halogenated amphetamines are more lipophilic and have a larger volume of distribution and just compartmentalize instead of going out of your system so fast like other amphetamines, coke and whatnot.

yeah, so I'm out of bupropion now and I would do it again if I had the chance,. but I'm glad I am out, because I could see myself getting to like that feeling a little too much...

...huh? An anti-d spedball come on now thats just not smart. Closest Ive got to a bupe speed ball is bupe and adderall in one line snorted or pluged with a benzo. Or bupe [suboxone and ritalin or adderall or coke] in one rig. Still never does shit for me the only time I caugh a buzz of bupe was when I rectal dosed 10mg of klonopin dissolved in warm half&half abd than 2mg xanax under the tongue and 8mg of bupe rectal disolved inwater. I actually caught myself nodding, 10mg kpin dose is not out of the ordinary for me so it wasnt that.

I am convinced there is something to do with your body chemistry concerning catching a buzz by shooting bupe, most time I get nothing but bupe relief others I occasionally feel pretty good, and once I as nodded [see above].

Ill stick to snorting me bupe and adderall in fact it dosing time for both. brb :yin-yang:

Only "speedball" I've tried with suboxone was coke.. it wasn't anything special. I'll have to try and see what adderall is like on it, but I may be dissapointed because I have used methadone ontop of adderall and found the combo to work fantastic

well I'll probably feel that soon again since I may be forced to get off bupe and go onto meth (parents don't wanna pay for my bupe which is way too expensive for me with all the doc visits n shit.. hell even with insurance the pills are damn expensive too) just having to go to that clinic every morning.. but to tell you the truth.. for a while I will probably love getting methadone legally, but hopefully I'll have enough self-control to wean myself down before the addiction gets too out of hand. The clinic my sister goes to gives you a MINIMUM of 50mg the first day. I have a feeling that might be too much for me as I'll I've been on for the past couple months is suboxone.. and right now I'm on 16mg but can easily handle more of it..

^ do you think I would get sick off of 50mg of methadone? When I had absolutely no tolerance 10mg of meth would set me perfectly, but it's been along time since then.

.. and my sister pisses me off again by telling me I don't really need suboxone or methadone because I don't have a "tolerance" and haven't been doing hard drugs like heroin IV for years non stop..

for the past four years I'll I've done is try to get painkillers every day and would ask random people for it at school and such.. sometimes I'd score a bottle of 30 hydros, percs, methadose, 100+mg of morphine, methadone liquid (stole from my sister lots of times and got caught 4 times and kept doing it.. I was high on this stuff for weeks straight), of course black tar heroin (only smoked a few times, never did much so I learned how to snort and IV and did those two for a couple months, only came back to H a few times so it was never TOO much of a problem, I just got really lucky that my hookups got busted), poppy seeds (did this stuff for 4-5 months every day and had the worst withdrawals I've ever exerienced) poppy pods (6-7 months but took breaks and tried my best to avoid bad withdrawals .. 2 months daily, 4 months every other day, ect..) I'm sure there's more I've forgotten, but either way it was getting out of hand being high all the time, building up high tolerances, then going straight to W/D and jump right back on once they ended.. this process wouldn't stop. I'm on 16mg of suboxone and even begging the doc to raise my dose.. I fiend for some strong opiates/opioids daily. Fuck my sister saying I have no tolerance and that I shouldn't be on suboxone.. shes the one on methadone.. I wonder why my parents hardly speak to me and when they do they just say mean shit and make me feel terrible, my ex girlfriend who I cared so much about and thought was the only one who really cared about me dumped me a little after i started on suboxone. I only have two good friends who I trust and one of them I never see, and only talk to online. The other one I see alot more often, but he's ALWAYS hanging out with other kids, some I can't stand.. he never calls me I gotta call him to hangout.. and hes always tellin me "im your best friend you can always count on me blah blah" it doesn't seem like it. So sometimes I break down, cry all day, sleep and won't get out of bed.. (cuz of the lack of friends I used to have, the girl I loved dumped me and doesnt ever want to be with me again, family treating me like shit, threating me all the time to kick me out of the house and cut me off everything they are paying for.. like I could really afford an appartment, my suboxone treatment (which is probably the same cost as a months rent), my medications paxil and klonopin, my car insurance, gas for the car, food, electricity, ect.. fuck i lost 20 lbs the first month and a half after my girlfriend dumped me.. I'm still not eating right. I'm still depressed. I still feel like shit and that no one cares about me. I REALLY want some H, morphine, or even methadone right now. fuck im just going to take another suboxone.. ive already taken 2, so that will be 24mg. One hell of a dose if you ask me.. I bet I won't even nod.. and believe me you can easily nod of suboxone.. just don't do any opiates for a couple weeks and try..

but ANYWAYs ZOOP, my psychiatrist gave me a bunch of samples of Wellbutrin XL. You say the combo works great with suboxone? Do I have to snort the stuff to get the "good effects."? I can't just swallow em?

They are small, but hard as a rock.. don't see how they would go up the nose so well.. they are white and 150mg each.
