new abstract avialable in the journal of ethnopharmacology regarding the purported ability of processed aconite root to reverse tolerance to morphine.
I think the importance of this update, is that they think that this herb product can help reverse tolerance to morphine in individuals that have already built up a tolerance to morphine.
properly processed aconite root means basically that you buy the root slices from a chinese herbalist, and then boil the root slices for at least an hour.
strain the liquid, discard the root pieces, and you are left with an elixir that is suprisingly not too bad tasting, and seemingly non toxic.
at least I didnt get any negative effects from consuming two single doses within a few hours of each other.
is this one of the secret ingredients in HEANTOS?
now that I have found this preperation to not cause nausea, or toxic effects at low doses, I would be willing to experiment with using it on a daily basis, to see if it really could help lower tolerance to morphine.
