Well, at the top of mine it says: "Get back to work, doctor diesel. What day is it?" And yesterday it said something even more obscure.
Go with the flow, I say!

Mine says, "Ah, the morning fix. What day is it?" I think it's just some built-in humor. Which is very nice!

I've been hesitant to indicate what those are and how they work, but would you believe we've actually had a member leave because they were offended by them?
Weird...

Uuhhhh . . . . . Hmm. What? Wait, I mean yeah. I'm angry too! Why does everything have to be BLUE on this site. You got something against RED? F'n red rocks, and you guys are apparantly too good for it. I quit.
I've been hesitant to indicate what those are and how they work, . . .
Now this I want to know more about. How they work? They Work? What do they do for work? Do they get benefits? Do you think they could get me on? At least put in a good word? The cryptic passages made plain by bi11i; I'm clamoring for it. You don't wanna lose any more members, right? I feel bad we lost that guy.

Have you tried the 'Curtains Up' theme? I guess I could put up a red theme - see no harm in that. I'll put it on the list....
"How they work" or "Why they work" Why is better verbage....

Poor attempt at humor. I don't care about red that much. I like blue. Soothing. I don't know what the "curtains up" theme is. Should I?

Yooooo Coddfish, scroll to the very botton of this site, and in the left hand bottom corner you can choose different themes (via the drop-down option) from the imagination of one really kooky guy named "Bi11i"

Blood red, please, Bi11i. Burgundy, wine, maroon, damask red.... call it what you will, it should be deep, fruity, and dead cool.

Bi11i, I think you did a terrific job, too. Obviously you are incredibly talented and willing to take on just about any challenge or request... and the red is great, for some. And by all means, they should have it.
I have never IV'd, so I guess I don't associate or anticipate seeing blood-red with something "pleasurable." My daughter spent the 1st 3 months of life in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and thankfully is fine today. But I watched daily as many babies died and their family's intense and horrific grief and the awful helplessness of knowing I could do nothing to ease their pain. Also, over a decade ago, my older brother fell off a ladder, while working as a mechanical engineer, 16 feet head-first to a concrete floor. He suffered a severe Traumatic Brain Injury, TBI, with lasting difficulties due to the depressed skull fractures. (The medical staff asked me to ride with him in the ambulance as he was transferred to a trauma 1 center from the small ER. Strapped down on a back board and cervical collar with blood trickling from his ears and nose, I held his hand and talked to him for that 40-minute ride. He was in and out of consciousness and very agitated. Typical with a head injury.) Then several years later, he was on a bicycle (without a helmet) and an elderly driver in Florida hit him from behind. Again, I was the first family member to get to him, this time he was already in the ICU, as he lay unconscious with dried blood caked in his nose and ears, on a ventilator with several more skull fractures and ugly metal staples closing the deep jagged gashes on his scalp. He's severely disabled now. Very sad. So for whatever reason, that blood-red color just gets to me.
Anyway, sorry, I didn't mean to be squeamish... I just have bad memories associated with it.
I like the Chinese red color of my living room (sort of orange-red or burnt red). It is warming and stimulating to me, and I enjoy spending time in there. In fact, every room in my house is a different color... soft yellows, lime green, grey, sky blue, even pink and I painted a very amateurish jungle and waterfall in my 7-year old's room (my preemie from the NICU).
I was wondering about fellow opiophiles, I'd like to know... do others like or live with lots of color in their lives?

Actually, I hope it works for you - I haven't tested it in quite awhile. We're going to be moving to a new server soon. A HUGE donation came in from Karen630 (http://forum.opiophile.org/member.php?u=1411), the biggest we've ever had, so Ophile will be heading to a new, secret location, thousands of miles below the earth's crust.
More to come...

Yep, and I was thnking we should have a rainbow color background that changes like the little quote of the day in the box, a rotatng color backdrop instead of bloody curtains. What do you think billi? I know you can do it - you can do anything!!! What do the rest of you all think? Some kind of background with an ability to slowly change from red to orange to yellow to green to blue to indigo to violet, etc. and so on and on and on .....
Take care y'all - "time for my morning fix" .... according to the board ... later
Shalom,
