After some lengthy downtime, we were finally able to get the hosting account transferred, plus the domain name moved over and all that. Thanks to all those who donated! Money brought in will be applied to the hosting account and for site tshirts designed by Jacky. We'll soon be revamping the now disabled paid subscription section and will provide a link to purchase the shirts.
Most of you will notice the lack of Private Messaging. This is a permanent change. I spent a night perusing through the messages and this feature has to go in order for Opiophile to stay. All messages have been purged and all copies of the database that contained these messages have been wiped out. Bye bye PM's. All communication on the board will be public. Posting will be reserved for members, but all posts will be public domain.
Another change - the Floral Design and Supply forum is no more. No discussion about pod sources will be allowed on the phile. Ever.
Those curious about the change in ownership - original co-founder Jacky is now the sole owner of the phile. My new boss and I'll be helping him get some new admins setup, the board upgraded, etc.
Additional donations are needed and welcomed. Jacky's goal is to come up with enough cash to not only get the shirts printed, but to have a few months cushion in the way of hosting.
