So how many of ya'll that take Done' be chiefin trees? For some reason a lot of folks that I talk to that take Done' don't smoke. At my clinic THC is about the only thing the drug test doesn't test for. Also my counsler knows I smoke and doesn't seem to have a problem. Anyhow I was just thinkin how many of ya'll actually smoke and do your clinics run the test for it? I go through an eigth in 2 days, which ain't good at all. I really wanna cut down bad, cuze I notice whenever I smoke to much past a level I pretty much lose my Done' feelin, and just feel sluggish lit.

i smoke daily. i think most heavy opiate users dont, but i think cali people are a special breed, we do love our weed. i havent had money lately, so i havent smoked in a couple days. but my sub doc doesnt test me, and sometimes i tell her that i smoked weed for a week or so just to get some good sleep. she doesnt get too preachy, but kinda tells me to knock off the weed smoking.
^^Agreed about the CA comment. Pretty much all my friends, opi or not, smoke. This is SF though, so it is pretty much expected.
I am on subs not done. But smoking keeps me from going insane w/ boredom. Plus I have smoked half my life at this point.

Yeah sounds like my doc. Yeah it seems like everyone in Cali be chiefin these days, especially up here in Northern Cali. I saw you were from Southern Cali, and I heard they are startin to get Cannibus Clubs down there, is that true? I know they had a couple true true medical ones ran by the state I believe. But I heard from a couple homies that they were gonna start goin up down there like they did up here in Northern Cali. It's funny cuze when I talk to folks from different states they don't believe we got regular stores to buy our trees at, haha. I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else.

They have tons of clubs in socal. A couple of swims friends drive down to supply some of the ones in Hollywood.
Edited to add- The feds are starting to raid the clubs. Up here in the bay and down there too. I think this administration wants to get its licks in before they are out of office. The medical clubs are definitely a thorn in their sides. Great use of resources right?

Shit in Frisco you guys got all the top notch clubs. I know they closed a few down a couple months ago, but they always got the best quality. I live in Vacaville, so I either go to the ones in Sac which suck for the most part. Or the Richmond one, which is pretty good. But ain't nothin like Frisco ones, they got everything there. I love coppin the hash, its the best bang for the buck. Normally get an 8th of Granddaddy for $45 then a gram of hash for I think $25 or $30 is goes up and down. But that last me super long. Pack lil bowls with a lil sprinkle of hash, yeah. Okay I'm leavin to handle business, to much talkin not enough action.

Yeah I heard that too. It's the biggest load of bullshit. It's allowed by state law, but the feds can hemp you up anytime they want. A couple cats I know supposedly got hemped up comin outta one in Berkeley, I thought they were woofin, but I been hearin more and more bout it. The cops up here in the Bay are coo as fuck though. I don't even have my club card, and I've gotten hemped up a couple times lately, nosey neighbors starin out they window, haha. But everytime the cops just say, "I WOULD RATHER SEE YOU SMOKIN WEED, THEN SOMETHIN ELSE" They just take it, and let me bail. I had a homie come out from a night in the cage, and the CO that gave him his property let him leave with a blunt in his bag. Don't ask me how, he said she checked it, and we picked him up soon as he walked out the door. Only in California, hahaha
Yeah the clubs here are awesome. IMO its as good if not better than Amsterdam (local bias) but you can get everything from crazy edibles, all sorts of hash and kif, and dozens of strains of weed. Its stoner heaven. Too bad our H sucks.

^^ Fucker probably just took it for himself. But yeah, I was walking out of my boy's apt and this bicycle cop, pulls up and starts patting us down. He goes in my backpack and takes out my zip. He said he had been biking around the block for half an hour trying to find us. He did let me go, but he is probably the only cop in Berkeley who would spend half an hour biking in circles cuz he smelled weed. He said he had already fucked with someone getting in their car cuz he thought it was them.

there are TONS of clubs in so-cal, at least 5 of em within a 10 minute drive of me. used to be more, but the FEDs shut a couple down. fuck them. but ya, weve had clubs down here for at least 10 years or more, i remember my neighbors grandma in like 97 or so was one of the first customers when they opened. we would bake her brownies. "one for you, two for me" haha.
cops here are pretty cool too, if youre honest with them. ive never had a possession ticket, and ive had at least 20 run ins with the popo where i told them "yes, officer, heres my weed, and heres my bub." they usually give the bub back and take the weed, give you a little lecture, and send you on your way. sometimes they let me keep the weed.

A lot of folks like Master OG Kush better, and a lot of reviews I've read ranks Master Kush way higher than GDP. But I love me some Grand daddy wayyyyy better than Master Kush. You can't top the taste on that Grand daddy, probably my favorite trees of all time. The Master Kush got that creeper high though. Also when you hit it you can inhale a shitload cuze it goes down so smooth. But next thing you know yo eyes is water and chokin. They are both some top notch though, I haven't had either one in months. OG Kush even longer.

ya i love granddaddy too.... potluck is a rap group from humboldt who i guess supposedly are/were pot farmers. its made up of a half black dude and a skinny jewish dude. theyre pretty good... i like them anyway. and i havent even seen any real OG kush in a loooong time. but i love how all that goes around here these days is indica. the prices are way lower than back in the day when purple kush and orange kush were the best bud you could get. oh and i knew this old dude from hawthorn who had been growing for 30 years who grew this shit called "green crack." that shit was BOMB. ive seen imitations since calling it green crack, but havent seen the real deal for like 5 years.

im on 90mg's a day and love my trees as well. also, my clinic does test for weed though my counselor lets me slide.

Same here. On 100 mg, 110mg on Wednesday.. They do test for thc at my clinic, but my doc is so cool.. i told him i smoke, hes all "weed is not even considered a drug here." hah.

I've been at the same 'done clinic for over 5 years now and for the first 3.5 years or so it was just like you said. . .they didn't test for THC and my counselor told me that it wasn't their business to get us off of pot. . we are opiate addicts and that's what they were working on, maybe down the road we could talk about pot but it wasn't a concern at that time.
Then the state government butted its head in and decided that since 'done clinics were drug rehabilitation facilities, they needed to test for all "drugs" and THC found its way onto the weekly screens. Since then I've gone from 2 on-site days a week to six. I can never go home to visit my family and i generally feel like a failure because of it. Who wants to tell their mom that they can't come home for Christmas because they can't stop smoking pot. . .not me. Worst of all it's a pay clinic. I could see if the state was funding it but. . .
I recently started a thread in the General forum about my battle with the ganj. Today is my 5th day off and I'm starting to feel alright about it. I notice I wake up easier and I've also noticed that for some reason I have an easier time talking to the babes at my school. I think the bud was making my personality sort of standoffish if you know what I mean.
Only real trouble I've had is a bit of nausea and a little harder time falling asleep at night. I've been a daily smoker for over 8 years so this is new to me. We'll see how long it lasts.
But what a fucking joke. Marijuana is not a drug! It is much less intense than caffiene or alcohol on my body.

I wish I was in so-cal. . .the state I'm in now requires all 'done clinics to test for THC. . .at least that's what the staff at the clinic tells us. They even say that the Doctor who runs the place has been fighting with the policy makers because it's causing a lot of trouble at the clinic. There are plenty of clients who have been there since the 70's when it opened and only had to come twice a month who now have to come every day because of the new THC policy. I'm sure the Doc. is only worried about losing some of those guaranteed fee payments each week but at least he's trying.
