not surprising. i am surprised at the length of time this has been going on though.
WASHINGTON — U.S. postal authorities have approved more than 10,000 law enforcement requests to record names, addresses and other information from the outside of letters and packages of :eyebrow:suspected:mad: criminals every year since 1998, according to U.S. Postal Inspection Service data.

I hate this government more everyday. "If you sacrifice your rights, we'll keep you safe from terrorists. We promise!"

This is why I like UPS. I have never had them "lose" one of my shipments. USPS has "lost" several.
A while back I heard that several postal workers were caught dumping mail that they were otherwise to lazy to deliver. Not too sure about the validity of this but it doesn't sound too far off.

I too have had numerous packages "lost" by USPS. One I sent a friend from Phoenix to Los Angeles, I sent it in June... sent PRIORITY MAIL, should have been there in 2 days... it arrived in September. There have been others that were never received. The only luck I've really had with USPS is overnighting. They are too worried about having to return your $16.25 in shipping, so they just deliver without question.
Am I surprised by this? NO. It's only going to get worse.

I really, really wish y'all had not said that about USPS..I just sent something (not drug-related Brony:p) that HAS to get there in 3 days or less. Great, now I'm depressed again.

Awe, sugar, I'll keep my fingers crossed. And for the record, NONE of my packages were drug related...
I would never do such a thing.
PS: Belle, I'm emailing ya back in a minute.. just got back from LA & my cell is finally on the proper "tower" and working...
