What would be the best way to use this unexpected windfall?

SWIM has a bottle of 30 Tylenol #4's, 60 mg codeine each for a total of 1800 millis of codeine.

So SWIM has never had this much codeine before and he has no idea of what to do with it. He is sincerely looking for suggestions on how to consume it SWIMSELF, he is not looking to share it, or sell it, or trade it in any way.

So, what should SWIM do???

Back in the day I could take 400mgs and, yeah maybe I'd get a pleasant itch but the bigger my habit gets the less codiene it takes to give me the itch and the nastier the itch gets. I could still get some mileage out of the stuff (which is OTC here - 15mgs / 500mgs apap) if it weren't for that insane fucking itch!

No, you're thinking of cimetadine/tagamet which inhibits cyp2d6 which is needed to turn codeine into morphine.

GFJ inhibits cyp3a4 which is good for codeine too, because it prevents the morphine produced by 2d6 from metabolizing to normophine.

For most opiates use GFJ and tagamet ,for codeine, only GFJ.

no what i meant was caffeine! not asprin. also a bitch to cwe cause you have to get the amt of liquid down to like 10ml for it to be effective.

Hmm, I think there is a brand that has caffiene too, been a while since I've looked. Far easier to get a bunch of seeds for me, starting to get fucking expensive though, a friendly shop keeper was telling me there's a world wide poppy seed shortage. I wonder why :rolleyes:

i thought we were talking about canada, where all otc codeine had caffeine in it? but were tlking about somewhere else?

I've also heard that there's a "ceiling effect" with Codeine, HLITL. Not sure what the ceiling-dose is, but I think it's around 400mg. And basically means that any amount over the 'ceiling' is a waste of codeine cuz you won't feel it.

I could be wrong... going off memory here, and my steel bear-trap memory has rusted up quite a bit.

You could also try some Benedryl for the itchies. (For Harm-Reductions sake: be careful of respitory depression...)

yeah i think "McNeil" brand t2, 3, 4 etc...they all have 15mg? of caffeine in them as well

plus, HLITL, remember the liver can't process more than around 400 or so mg's of codeine in one shot anyway, no matter how large your habit is, just so you know and don't accidentally take all of it, and get disappointed cause it got wasted...

best bet, eat em, maybe 5 or so for 300 mg's....don't really worry about the CWE because these codeines only have 300mgs of acetaminophen per tablet in them,, so even if you took 6, let's say, that's 1800mg of acetaminophen, which is okay...and remember, anything more than 6 would be a waste anyways

The Tylenol with codeine series (#1,2,3,4) contain respectively 15mg, 30mg, 30mg and 0mg of caffeine.
