Need Help With Morphin Extraction

The poppy tea isn't working too well for me so I'm trying to do a Morphine extraction. I just got through trying my first extract; so later tonight I'll know if I was successful or not. But below is a link to my blog about my procedures for extraction. It would be greatly appreciated if everybody could look over my procedures and give me any suggestions. I'm looking to make a snortable or even injectable product.

what's up ax? Once again... cool site...has lots of potential...unfortunately I can't say the same for your procedure (to produce injectable product). If it were that easy, we would ALL be doing it. One thing you are missing is a WASH to remove lipids, fats, other plant matter, chlorophyll, etc.. Next, I using 8 pods....what size...quality? I doubt that 8 of any of the pods (except some of the HUGE jumbos) would yeild to you enough M to work with properly, I mean, I guess if you had super big, high M content pods, and every reaction and extraction was optimal...then possibly, but I know you are missing other steps... I mean, you are gonna have to SUPR-FINE filter the solution, also,may want to try to react with AA if you are getting this far! Anyway, some of our chem peeps here can elaborate, but if you Do succeeed where some others did not...sht...more power to ya! i am a BIG experimentation advocate! I love finding new ways to skin a cat! That's it for now...PLEASE let us know your results, contentions, etc!

Thanks for your input. I know it's not a great procedure, it's just a start. I was following a general outline that the DEA put out about making Morphine. And I only used 8 because I really wanted to try the extraction but that's all I had at the time. So I know the end product won't be that much. But I've learned a lot in the process. With my next shipment I'll have plenty to work with. I'll be happy with a snortable product for now, then when my procedures get better and more refined i'll try the injection. But please keep the input and help coming! Together we could come up with a great way to extract morphine.

By using the 40% alcohol method. (ie first neutral,then basic and finally acidic), I now have a brown solution that theoretically contains morphine and codeine, plus other alkaloids and water solubles. By adjusting the pH to 9.1 the morphine is supposed to precipitate.Well having done that,I am still waiting for the morphine to ppt.Oh well.
