Pain with Mylan patches?

I was curious if anyone who is on or was taking mylan or any brand of patches experienced liver/lower abdominal pain? The first time my doctor prescribed patches, about 12 hours into wearing the first one I had pain like I've never experienced before. I've never had a kidney stone pass or anything, but it felt like my stomach was being twisted in a vise.

Needless to say I took off the patch right away and took a shower to try to get it out of my system. I felt better after about 4 hours and some norcos. I told my PM doctor the next day and he said it was probably a side effect from that brand. He wrote me a script for the brand named ones, and some OC's in case I had the same problem, but I never did. Has anyone else ever experienced excruciating pain on Fentanyl patches generic or not?

I have never heard of this. I don't doubt it though. Personally, I started out with the Mylan patches and liked them better. They were smaller and I didn't notice any difference at all over how they worked compared to the name brand duragesic.
