Oaksterdam college!

Has anybody else seen this? There is actually a college where you can go to learn how to grow medical marijuana. They said the average pay for somebody with this as a career is anywhere from $50,000 to $80,000 a year. I guess it's in Oakland Ca.

Oh, yeah i have heard of it. I live in the bay area, and one of our local free papers has a big ad for it on the back ( Gaurdian, for any of you locals). Pretty funny in my opinion, they have buisness classes on starting grow op's and cannibus clubs!! other funny shit too! I quess it is ran or funded by one of the larger medical clubs in oakland.... It will be interesting to see where this goes. The Medical marijuana industry is booming right now. I mean it's actually ridiculous here in CA. When i lived in LA, i knew a young guy ( 23) whose dad gave him a bunch of money, he started a medical club, and is now bringing in mega bucks, just like that. Im jelous, he's gonna be a millionaire real quick. I mean so many people get there weed from clubs these days, its crazy.

Wow, really? Out here there is alot of commercials trying to get people to move out there. They make it seem like the economy is booming. They even got Arnold at the end of the commercial saying, "when can you start"?

WOW! are you for real? They have a commercial, that is crazy, with an arnold cameo, too !! I see the newspaper adds, but never seen a commercial. I mean, i picture it as some kinda shady operation. Like a back room in the medical club, with a couple of old desks in it, where they take alot of money from you, and have some old hippie teaching? but who knows.
I have a friend who works at the club, i am going to ask him what the 411 is on this college, and i will post back what he tells me.

Yeah, I've seen the commercial too, but it's just trying to get people to move to California for work, not specifically for the Medical Marijuana Industry.

Kind of a funny commercial though, I'm sure you can find it on YouTube or something.
