Definately interesting. I tried it a while back but noticed no real effects. So i quit since only god knows what that chemical shit is doing to your body in the long run.

Never tried the stuff.....Firm believer in releasin endorphins from exercise....From what i gather from this;only works well on severly depressed peeps who score high on the test...

the only thing it did for me was kill my sex drive, when i was off opies. so i got back on opies had still had no sex drive but at least i was high and not depressed.

Ahhhh, the jury's out for me.

SSRIs, tried every one of them, just about:
prozac
zoloft
paxil
lexipro
celexa
serzone
Need I go on???

....anyway, what I'm getting to is the first few days I take them it almost feels like a PG rated E roll. Then, they just stop working. The feelings gone in a week or less. And prozac never did anything for me other than give me a limp noodle. Fuck that shit, I'm not taking ANY pill that's going to make my junk not work. I'd rather be depressed with a hard on then chemically turn myself into a unic.

The same thing happens when I try things like Wellbutrin. It's all dandy for a few days then.... NOTHING.

The ONLY medications I've psychologically benefited from have been of the anticonvulsant/benzodiazepine variety.

Oh yeah, I even tried some anti-psychotics too. Bahhh...

P.S. I FUCKING HATE SEROQUEL!

P.P.S. Some anti-psychotics aren't bad for coming off coke/meth from what I understand.

None of the SSRI's ever worked for me including the latest greatest Lexapro.

The only thing that has ever worked for depression are Opiates, jackup that

^ Yeah, that Seroquel is some crazy shit. I have a script for it, but only take when I need to knock myself out. One or two 25mgs of it and it's 'boom-boom, out go the lights'. But it def makes you feel very weird right before you go comatose.

Like I said I only use it when nothing else works for sleep---the shit WILL knock you out.

As far as SSRIs---ehh, tried a bunch, noticed nothing, and quit taking them. Last thing I need is a dependancy to another godammned pill.

They take a few weeks of daily use to kick in. What you're experiencing for the first few days is side effects so when you thought they 'stopped working' that was just your body adjusting to them.

I've been anti the antis for years but last year I thought "fuck it I don't wanna live like this I might as well give them a go". Been on citalopram since and it works. It even cured my insomnia - I don't wake up at 4am with everything negative about my life on my mind. Iit basically seems to stop me dwelling on the negative shit.
