opiods and depression

I hope this is the right forum for this.

I was wandering if anyone has any, or knows of any links to reputable journals/articles pertaining to the use of opiods (predominately mu-agonist) in the use of depression.

I have a few, but I would like to find some more. So if anyone can post some links, pdf's, etc, it would be greatly appreciated.

I too have always been interested in opiates as a treatment for depression.
If people could only get pass the stigma...

Thanks for the link. There must not have been a lot of research on the subject, as it is not easy to find any studies/information on it.

Ive seen a few for buprenorphine, but I am more interested in full-agonists' use in this field. I have gone through PubMed, NEJM, etc, and there doesnt seem to be anything.
