Hey guys and gals, quick question, I am in Ontario Canada and until recently you could only get bupe on a special access pass through your mmt clinic. That has changed and now it can be prescribed by any docotor that takes the course, the problem is I am having an extremely hard time finding any doctor who prescribes it! We are lucky here in canada because ohip pays for all of our doctors appt.'s and then we just pay for our scripts. I am just wondering if anyone knows anyone who knows anyone, lol who knows where I can get hooked up with a sub doctor here I am east of Toronto Ontario.
My clinic keeps giving me the run around and I am starting to think I do not even want to deal with them when i make the switch. I am thinking of getting some dillies (short acting opies) and using them instead of the methadone for a week, and then making the switch to sub, I am currently on 20mls of methadone.
If anyone knows anything or can find out I would love some help with this, I have started doing extensive searched for doc's in the area and come up empty handed every time.
Thanks in advance, Kerry
