Demerol/Mepergan

I have a few pills i have received from my friend. I was just curious as to if there any good or can compare to any good pills such as OC's Percs Lortabs Morphine etc.... ? Also if they are any good how many should i take to get a good buzz. I take aprox. 40mg's of oxycodone to get high so I have an average tolerance. They are the capsules, (Meperidine/Promethezine) 50/25mg. Please fill me in on how many i should take and how i should take them?

I found 4 50mg demerols once, stash them away for hurting times, well sure enough I remeber them and attempted to ease some pain of w/d, I felt absolutely nothing, codeine does more for me. Snorting them hurts like a whore. If I am not mistaken it also had some numbing effects on the mouth. Haven't seen or heard of them since.

I presume they have a very low bioavliability, prehapes if you have enough. Would be interested in hearing other peoples experiences.

way back in the day, 96-98 i used to encounter the lil red mepergan fortis capsules quite often...
for the opiate naive they are pretty good IVed, 100mg or so... syn is right, the prmethazine will knock you out before you acheive any real kind of high but i always found em worth the trouble nonetheless...
these days? well, i duno, maybe theyd get me well but if you have any tolerance i wouldnt expect much, even if IVed...

on the positive side, they do break down super easy and clean in a little water, of course filter em, but its a clean boot.

When I first got hurt, I got the same pills Nate was talking about. For someone with a 40mg Oxy habit, you shouldn't have any trouble getting something out of them. If they didn't have the phenegran(Sp) in them they'd be better. Synack is right, you'll probably fall asleep because of the phenegran.

If I were you, I'd start out with 100mg and see how you feel. The high to me is very sedating, that's with straight demerol tablets though. Allot like morphine, in my opinion. Also, be careful taking repeated high doses of it. It leaves a substance in your system that can be cumulative and cause some nasty reactions. Be safe and have fun!

Can i sell them if so how much can i sell them for the 25/50's ? Probably nothing huh? Thanks for your input guys.

I really wouldn't count them out man. They are allot stronger than Ultracet or tramadol. Its the folks like myself and AO (he's a junkie!) and others that have high tolerances that would not get much out of them. If 40mg of Oxy gets you where you want to be, I can assure you that 100mg of demerol will do the same. A different kind of high, but you should definitely feel it, for sure!

Pethidine (meperidine) is pretty weak when taken by mouth. It is pretty good when IV'ed, but outside of parenteral administration, they wont do much. And again, the promethazine is a pretty potent antihistamine used for n/v, and is very sedating.

Demerol is a weird drug. Iv'ed it can be a pretty good analgesic, with far less resp. dep. then morphine. It has a really short half-life, but as stated, it has an active metabolite (norpethidine/normeperidine) that is (I believe) neurotoxic, and similar to an anticholinergic (ie atropine) when it accumulates. If you have any renal or hepatic problems, it should be avoided, as the active metabolites cannot be properly cleared from the body, causing accumulation.

I know at the time 40mg of oxy would easily take me out of w/d, but I felt nothing from 200mg oral demerol. I actaully recall sleeping like complete ass that night too. Hopefully you can get something from them, definetly not useless.

demerol isn't bad man. I had a H habit going and took around 200mg once and felt pretty good actually. It's just it doesn't last long..and no way were those tablets breaking down in water nooooope anyway give them a shot.. not literally :D promethazine doesn't make me that tired either... but then again I need at least 200mg seroquel to sleep

I tried them, i took 3 of them. It made me soo tired and i just kinda felt as if i had taken a xanax bar. Absolutley no opiate feeling from them, i didnt feel any euphoria. Disapointment tbh.

Yeah, its definitely more sedating to me than anything like Oxy. Sorry it didn't work out for ya. If you have any left, I'd stash them and wait until a rainy day. They would definitely come in handy if you were on the verge of being sick. Better luck next time!!
