View Full Version : My personal self-administration of I.V. Heroin

Good morning my fellow opiophiles! Let's get my past experience out of the way before I post what I just experienced just a few minutes ago (@ around 6 a.m. eastern). I've been sniffing heroin for around 10 years or so, only about 6 years habitually. The only time (in the past) that I had experience with the I.V. route was once, when a girlfriend fixed me up sometime last winter. It was only one weakish bag, and I was not impressed.

Yesterday, I decided to partake in some fun since I've been behaving for about 12 days (suboxone treatment, 8mgs a day). I bought a bundle of "Black Label" and ended up sniffing about 8 bags, along with eating about 2-3 xanax through-out the day, getting a real nice buzz for the day, ending with me passing out at about 8 pm last night. I woke up this morning, only two bags in my pocket, with a sealed syringe that has been hidden in my closet for about 1 month. I've been planning on trying it out, but have chicken-shitted out every time.

I've read up everything I could on safely using a needle, and was some-what confident about knowing what I was doing. I dumped my bags into my sterile spoon, added some water, and stirred it up into a nice brown colored liquid. Dropped the white cotton in, watching as it turned the water of the dope, which I could now smell, making me salivate almost. Drew up that bad-boy, making sure to get all the air out first, before I had to do what I came there for. I took a few large breaths, grasped the syringe in my shaky hand and gently pushed it into my skin-

Wow!

It didn't hurt as I expected. I tried to pull back on the plunger, but that was much harder then I've ever seen done before... Facker didn't want to budge. When the plunger went back, I sighed... no blood. Dammit! So, I did safe-shooting 101 and pulled it back out. Not wanting to waste the dope, I changed with tourniquet to my other arm, trying to slip the needle into another vein on my right arm that was bulging out a bit. Pulling back (fucker is still hard to pull back!) there was again, no blood! Frustrated and not wanting to waste my last two bags, I switched the tourniquet once again, I slipped the needle into a different vein: Hmmm, what was that? I felt something inside my arm after I pierced my skin... strange... I pulled back on the plunger, sweat dripping down my face, catching the droplet with my tongue as I was intently starring at the impossible barrel... THERE IT WAS! That lovely red rose slowly rising! It looked so dark, so morbid, yet beautiful in the same breath. Here we go, boys and girls.

After I slowly pushed it all in, removed the tourniquet and started to clean the rig, I had a wave of pleasure overwhelm my whole upperbody, washing down to my legs and up to my brain. After I put everything away, I signed on-line here, and decided to share my experience. This is definitely quite a large difference in the high. Also, surprisingly there was little to no pain. Much easier than a flu-shot or getting my blood drawn.

I have two questions tho: The spots where I pierced my skin, but didn't shoot, have swollen up a bit, like a small bump, but in the spot I hit and pushed the plunger looks nice. Also the needle I used looked exactly like the ones in the picture at the top (the diabetic needles i believe), with a very small needle tip. Is it normal for the action on those to be so hard to use? (pulling back, and pushing forward?) Do to the fact that I have to take a drug test twice a month, i can only use needles every once in a while, so I would to know what type/brand/gage would be the best..

PS- sorry if my post is a bit long, took me quite a while to type it as I am grooving pretty hard at the moment.

Blue,

I hate mis-sticks...they suck. Though there's no way for me to tell what exactly happened where your stick sites are swollen, you can minimize your chances of infection by swabbing the area prior to sticks with either an alcohol pad (available at wally stores and pharmacies) or a cotton ball with isopropyl alcohol.

I've found that the crappiest of H has a tendency to clog needles and generally makes it tough to draw and plunge. Again, I do not know such is the case with your experience, but it has happened with me.

I can not comment nor have any opinions on the brand of syringe best suited for IVing H. For me, any that is brand new out of the package is best.

The slight bumps are common. They should pass with no problem.

"Hard to pull back" Yeah, some syringes are harder to register with. I've found that Terumo's have the smoothest plunger, compared to BD and various other brands. Also, your needle gauge plays a factor regarding how easy it is to register with. The larger the gauge(smaller numbers) the easier it is to register. Part of the reason why a lot of experienced users prefer 27/28G.

Good luck with your new journey.

PS: The experience would have been much better if you hadn't taken dope last night and if you weren't on Suboxone.

Thanks for the replies, guy.

The small bumps where I poked myself have dissapeared, so that worry is gone. All in all, I found it to be a good experience. I had quite a good nod going on for a while (which never really happens to me from sniffing anymore, especially only two bags). I was going to try to wait until this morning to do the dope, but having the dope in my hand, plus some xanax floating in my system made me go a little over-board that night, but all is well that ends well. Infact, I'm still a bit high six hours after the shot. I'm supposed to be getting a new batch tonight that I'm going to wait to try tommarrow. Hopefully I might get a better experience since the last time I took suboxone was 4mg on monday, so it should just about be out of my system.

I've been told this new batch should be a bit bitter, too (untouchable, if anyone has ever heard of it), so I'm going to try one bag first so I don't end up in the ground.. then back on the suboxone (gotta pass a piss-test wednsday afternoon).

And to think, I was such a needle-phobe. As long as I keep my use to the occasional shot, keep good I.V. hygine, and stick with the suboxone the majority of time, hopefully I'll keep my veins nice and healthy (keeping my fingers crossed, knockin' on wood here).

Those little bumps are no big deal, the area just gets a little irratated from the needle going in. But when you stick it in and register and there is no blood, you don't need to and really shouldn't just pull it out and try somewhere else. Yo may have just missed by like nanometers. Pull back the plunger and if there is no blood, leave the plunger where it is and just slide the needle in and out a little, move it around a little and when you hit it will register. There is no need to pull it all the way out of the skin and stick yourself again. Now you have 3 needle marks instaed of 1, the needle is duller than it would have been and you probably could have hit the first spot with a little effort.

So next time try that, don't pull it back out until you have fished around a bit and are sure you aren't gonna get anything there. But, since you have only IVed twice, you should still have some really easy spots to hit and could probably kust do it by sight.

So now that you've tried IV and gotten off doing so... how would it feel doing anything else??? I'm just wondering your perspective on that...

I'vebeen gettin that blacklabel for a few weeks now. I like it somewhat. The first time I got it , about 2 months ago... I cooked it up and it left about 50% of itself caked to the spoon. Obviously it was the cut. But it was gross! After cooking a few bundles in my spoon, I had about a gram of this cut stuck to my spoon. I scraped it out and tried to recook it but it would not dissolve no matter how long I kept a flame under it. Since then The blacklabel has been good. All of it dissolves now?

Good luck with doing an occasional shot, I think we have all said that at one time.

When you first start I.V.ing its a pain in the ass to hit, Your anxious and really dont know what your doing. After time passes you will find what veins are the best and easiest for you to hit, we all differ, but most of us perfer the ones in the crook of the elbow. Those veins seem to be the easiest to hit without a problem.

I perfer 1cc, 28gauge, 1/2inch but will use really anything that is 1/2inch. When I first started I could get by with the 5/16 inch rigs, but after time passed those veins I started on seem to be deeper than they were before. I am not sure if its just that my arms are larger now so I cant see the veins or those veins are fucked, maybe a lil of both.

Check out Heroinhelper.com there are great guides to I.Ving on there.

Thanks for the replies, guy.

WHen I first started IVing I could flip a rig into the air and close my eyes and it would hit a vein...over time it got harder and harder but that is what hands, wrists, forearms, feet, your dick is for LOL

BTW black label is good stuff.......
