getting needles in NJ

So how does everyone in NJ get their needles? They dont sell em here without an RX. Some people get em off the street, but i dont think SWIM should trust those. How else can SWIM get pins?

Needle exchange.I believe New jersey has recently Ok'd works exchanges.So,use it.A lot of folks fought long and hard to set up works exchange there.

i heard there is one open and ready in Atlantic City, but i have no idea where it is located. Also heard they're opening Needle Exchange in Camden and Newark, not sure when tho. Can anyone help SWIM out? Thanks

Someone who isn't you could always order them offline. That person could order a friggin' case of 800 if they want. All they would need to do is google "syringes" and there it is.

Ya, you can buy them online. Search for it and you will find a million medical supply places that will sell them no problem. Shit, you could probably buy dope online if you looked hard enough. But buying rigs online is about as difficult as buying shoes online.

BTW, I read they just opened 4 needle exchange programs in NJ, there are in AC, Newark, Camden and Patterson. I am sure you could find where they are with a little effort on Google or by calling the county health department in whatever county those cities are in.

i'm not sure how stringent the NJ law is, but here in PA, you can't buy them without a script. but you also can't order them online and have them shipped to a PA address without a script. PA needle laws suck wet ass.

2570ok peeps i got the location of the nep/ needle exchange program
and i'm going tomorrow maybe this afternoon. it's located at counseling center that offers harm reduction and aids/addiction info ands services etc etc.
it's supposedly right on broadway close to summer st
and i've read up on it and the cops promise not to hassle peeps using the center
i'll give you an exact location and all the rest 411 when i do what i do with this.
supposedly for every 1 syringe they give you 11 also available are cookers, saline solution, tournikits and sharps disposil kits.
it opened just after new years so wish me luck
i usually went into the bronx or upper manhatten for my syringes but some of those pharmicists think theyre god. and at 6$ fer the toll, well unless i'm gonna get something good to go along with my sets then i'll just make do. after all we all know a few diabetics i'm sure.

Sure ya can. There are sites that will ship them to you. I just looked at one and all it says is, if our products are illegal in your location don't order from us. It is up to you to know your local laws. So I take that to mean they will ship anywhere and if something happens they think they are in the clear (which I doubt is legally true) and they are just gonna say you should have known.

But they will ship them and they come in a discreet box that doesn't give any mention of what is in it. You don't even have to have your full name on it, they will accept an initial. PM me if you want the link.

One other thing you might try. Vet supply places sell syringes sometimes. Not regular places like Petco, but places that sell like horse supplies and stuff for dog breeders, shit like that. I used to buy them at a place like that occasionally, they sold rigs and also sold horse, dog and whatever else medication. They don't usually sell insulin syringes, but if you tell them they are for puppies they will give you the smallest ones they have. All I ever had to do was sign one sheet of paper and put down my name and home address, which they never asked for ID to verify, so if someone wanted to, I guess they could just write down Johnm Smith from 123 Fake St, anytown, USA, 90210. I didn't do that, but ya could.

They are right there on broadway outside the bus station. I went and met up with them today. They provide you with a card that gives you permission to carry around syringes in case the cops try and stop you for them. They were actually very polite and generous. If you call the main line they will give you the cell number of the kids so they will actually come and find you so long as you are within their area. Just look for two young kids and a red backpack.

Here are a few pictures of the card along with the syringes. All you have to do for the card is give them the first letter of your first and last name along with the year you are born. Was quite simple, and they were both rather polite, and generous with what they had to offer. :D

Yo blackdog, I went there too. There is an actual office, somewhere else in Washington Heights, but you want to go see the actual street couriers. They are usually on 178th and Broadway on the bus station side. Look for usually two people with big red backpacks, they sit on random storefronts on the sidewalk. You go up to them and give them your initials and year of birth for the card. They bullshit with you for a few minutes and then you ask for whatever you want.. syringes, cotton, disposal kits, tourniquets, safe sex supplies, etc. They have a bunch of shit and will give you as much as you want pretty much. It was real easy. Easy access to free syringes in NYC (Washington Heights)

They have a main office but i don't know where it is exactly, and they also have groups of people set up all around the city since pharmacy aren't holding up to their end of the law. Its right outside the bus station. There are two rite aids. You want to be on the side of the street with the blockbuster. As he said look for two guys, or a guy and a gal with a red backpack, and if you still can't find them call this number. 917 504 9931. A girl named Jaime will answer and if she isn't working the block she will give you the number of someone who is. This is all done outside, but everything is wrapped up plus that card they give you grants you the right to have the syringes in NY. I was only looking to get three or four and the guy was more than happy to give me twenty along with any thing else i might need. The only thing is, they leave around four o'clock. UPDATE:FOUND IT AND I BEEN USING IT FER OVER A MONTH OR SO.......ON BROADWAY AT STRAIGHT ST. OPPOSITE WHITE CASTLE. IT'S THE WELL OF HOPE DROP IN CENTER IN A HOUSE ATTACHED TO THE CHURCH ON THAT CORNER. THEY OPERATE JUST LIKE THE ONES IN N.Y. so i finally found the Needle Exchange in newark, nj. Im so happy about it. I knew there was one, but it took forever to locate this place. This exchange has very good hours. This place is called North Jersey Research Initiative (NJCRI). Its located at 393 Central Ave in Newark, right near 1st street. For more info goto the website NJCRI (http://www.njcri.org/). Its very easy, they also give you a card, which gives you the ability to carry needles on you without any risk from the cops. Anyone need help or anything send me a PM and i will try my best to help you out.

The needle exchange in Newark, NJ only had 27 gauge needles when I went. Do you guys think i could special order needles from the exchange or do you guys think when I went they were all out of the other good sizes, cause I would really love to get 29-30 gauge needles. If you guys could help me out, that would be great. This is just a question about how needle exchanges work in general. I dont know if needle exchanges are allowed to special order needles for members. I just emailed the exchange, so i hope to hear from them soon. Thanks again.
